This makes me very emotional. Back in 2016 I remember never having a game I truly wanted to play and improve so much of, never having one I could call my own with my friends as my number one choice. Then one friend recommended a game I’d never heard of before called ‘Overwatch’ the only other hero shooter I had ever played in my life was Battleborn, and played a small amount of Team Fortress 2 round at a different friends, so I had no idea how the gimmick worked, and was a little concerned about following his advice but I decided, “yeah I’ll give it a try” and lone behold got it as a Christmas present, and before too long I was hooked, the gimmicks, the abilities, the heroes and the events back in their prime especially the archives which added more to the lore, and the continual addition of new heroes I just couldn’t resist constantly wanting to play more, even if there were times I wanted to stop I pushed through and improved and loved it even more. To see where what once was my favourite game has went to and fallen so far, is just something unbearable, the game just isn’t the same, “you either die the hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain” Overwatch never died as the hero, it carries on as the villain, it may not be dead but to me the game I used to love is long gone…. RIP Overwatch, my first favourite game 😔

Fought since ana came out. Left at the start of ow2 season 5. Im not coming back. I miss the old days. At least i still have some memories. Ow2 is not what we waited for, and i will alwayes hate activision for what they have done to a game that made most of ny childhood. Its gone now. Cant wait for the closing of servers announcment.

I still yearn for a day where Overwatch 1 finally exists again. I may be a Team Fortress 2 fan at heart, but the memories Overwatch gave me back then are too strong to ignore. I just want to relive logging on to Overwatch and having a blast, not some soulless money printer that vaguely resembles a game. _Was it worth it, Blizzard?_

i think we can all agree that no matter if you hated this game or rage, it WAS good. FPS ussually dont have such lore and i don't remember any kind of actuall PVE since OW1. Now we are simply left with a vision of what could have been if not the greed and lazyness. Farewell OW

I like how during the whole thing the last note of the tune is off except for the very last one... It's like a lil reminder that going through dark times is sometimes necessary to reach a happy ending

This didn't age so well and as a Team Fortress 2 player I just want to say that I'm sorry about what your game has become. Truly it was an honour to be compared to Overwatch. The fact that a 17 year old game still has enough of an influence to warrent thar kind of comparion is a compliment to us But with the news that Overwatch has abandoned PVE and people leaving. Well I believe the TF2 heavy has the perfect saying "It is sad day"
