So i replaced the battery successfully. Phone works, turns on, and rings notifications. Ok but the screen is black and its not cracked or damaged i think. What did i do wrong?

This is a terrible video. No mention of wifi/Bluetooth antenna cable or the video cable. Also anyone who reported they followed this video and their surface doesn't turn on afterwards - likely the way the battery connection was removed and re-installed blew up the mainboard. Follow the ifixit guide instead.
