Kate Bush is my favorite music artist ever and has written some of the best lyrics ever to be produced. This song also has one of the most profound lyrics I've ever heard: Why don't you be the artist, I'll make me out of clay Why don't you be the writer, And decide the words I'll say For me to put something on the same tier as Kate Bush isn't common but I definitely feel like this song has been a hidden jewel in Ellie's catalogue for her entire career. I wish she'd bring it back in live shows.

Ellie is a great songwriter, according to her she was heavily influenced by Joni Mitchell's songwriting style. Also Kate Bush is one of her musical heroes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her last album BRIGHTEST BLUE, it has her best songwriting yet-- more poetic,matured,rational & poignant. (FLUX,START,CYAN,ODE TO MYSELF, WOMAN- special ones)

She's not really doing much of anything nowadays. It's been like 2 or 3 years since her last album and I haven't heard anything from her. But even then, her most recent album has good songs. Lost and Found sounds like it could've come from her first album.

@@razrv3lc Delirium as the name just said was a mess about drugs, sex and party.. It destroyed what she did and build with halcyon days and lights/bright lights! Shes making still music.. She did that a few songs over the last years and she uploaded the lyrics for a new one 2 weeks ago.. Shes still there and makes this kind of childish party shit.. Thats so sad cause she wastes her talent.. Songs like dead in the water/the writer and else. Are not longer ellies stuff..

@@razrv3lc have you checked out her song LET IT DIE from Delirium ?? It's a folk/indie song just like her 2010 stuff,so organic! It was later released in Delirium Target Edition,unfortunately not released widely by her label. Her label blocks her from releasing the music she wants- sad ballads. Her recent unreleased song - ELECTRICITY (she talked about releasing it but her label blocked) is a damn masterpiece.
