Can you tell me if the unit is able to register putts now in SIM mode.This is the reason why I have not upgraded from the skytrak original,you can't put on the ST +.

Noticed there weren't a lot of shots to the right of the laser (closer to unit). Does is still give that same 2-3inch radius from that location?

Hate when my dog runs in front of me while hitting too. Looks like u can put a SkyTrak and a hitting net just about anywhere 🙂

Hi Jordan. We just set up our new simulator bay and Skytrak +. Love, love it, but my sister is left handed and wonder if we need to do anything different. There's NOTHING in skytrak's site regarding that. Just move it to the other side????

i am using the ST+ now for 3 weeks and the hardware and software is really top. Short wedges, putting etc. is working really well. BUT there is a but! clubs longer then iron 6 are not as good as the short ones. i have some missreads (ST+ ignores the shot, on shorter irons i dont have these) and the distances (carry) are definitely not correct. I compared it with the R10 and my experiences on the range outside. I noticed that the maximum height of the shot is definitely not correct. I have deviations of up to 70% in max. peak. With clubs under 5 iron everything fits. Are these errors known?

Do these units accurately show if you're slicing? As in, when it starts going straight and starts slicing hard rather than just showing it go right.

I love the ST+ and the Software as well. Putting and short chips are working perfect. BUT every club longer then iron 6 are not correct read. I am sure that my drives are longer than 120 meters and higher then 11 m :-) Are these problems known?

I noticed that your ball placement in relation to the red dot was inconsistent. Sometimes behind the dot with driver, in front of dot with wedges and a little left and in front with irons. Is this what we are supposed to do? Not place on dot but rather in front or behind depending upon club?

Hey. Good video. QUESTION: I enjoy the randomized on practice mode and I like the skills assessment as well. I wish that the Skills Assessment (randomizer) would change the distance of each shot. It currently is block practice/assessment. Would be even better if you could randomize the distances per shot so that it forces you to change your swing or club.

The original read most shots as a draw or a hook. Side spin issues. I put it against a Mevo plus and a Trackman. Skytrak was the only one reading draws and hooks. New one according to this video and others I’ve seen looks to be a much better product

It would be nice to know when we can try it out ourselves!? When I pre-purchased, it was supposed to be shipping around the 18th, now it just says late May. Fyi… its late May!

Love the OG. Would like a new list on the site of Measured Ball/Club data and calculated Ball/Club data. Also, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, give us a roadmap for software plans and skytrak! For a lot of us this is a really big investment into a hobby we already spend a ton on. By the time we pull the trigger on a simulator set up we have borderline expert knoweledge. Would love to see community managers share more about what is going on at skytrak especially since personally I think it is still the best practice software out.

The original missed a lot of lob wedge shots. Driver distance was also under reported with faster swings. The new Skytrak seems much better. Appreciate the video.

Does it not work that well with Original Sky Trak when it comes to E6 Connect and Chips?

Does it not measure Angle of Attack AOA? If not, why not? Also are we tied into the garbage yearly software subscriptions with the really poor slow website or is this more standalone like the Mevo+ can be? I moved away from Skytrak to Mevo+ due to not having club data and the crazy subscription (with poor support and very slow website we had to navigate). Be interested to know if this has changed. The software interface trumps Mevo+ in so many ways, i'd be interested in moving back.

It supposed to have a 40% bigger hitting space but we still have to put the ball on the red dot?

This device looks great. The big advantage over something like the mevo+ is that it works with regular unmarked balls but can you please explain how the device is able to get accurate club path and club face angle data without using stickers on the face even though a more expensive device like the GC3 needs stickers to get that data? It just makes me wonder how reliable the club data actually is.

agree @dawnpatrolgolf, lob wedges on old skytrak were hit and miss. hopefully new one fixes it

This is a big improvement! Almost right on par with the Mevo+ now…I like it. Wish it had AoA, but this is still great! Might sell my ST and Mevo+ since I’m limited when I can use the Mevo+ when there isn’t room…
