Could be a useful video if we could see the diagram she was using. It is so blurry I am not sure I can translate everything on it.

At 8:40 Did she say so "stupid"? It's such a forbidden word in the education system that I felt like she cursed. Carry on!

Thank you for your dedication to differentiation in the classroom! It's evident how much you care about meeting each student where they are and helping them thrive. Truly inspiring! I'm so impressed by your ability to tailor your teaching to the unique needs of each student. Your commitment to differentiation is making a real difference in their learning journeys. In addition, I enjoyed seeing the way you grouped the students based on their preferences so they could learn from each other’s strengths. I liked that in each group you had a high reader student, a student who could solve math problems carefully and, in some groups, students who needed support in both areas. As educators we know that not all students approach problem solving in the same way. Therefore, it is apparent that we as educators use differentiated approaches and you really exemplified that in this video. Your passion for differentiation is truly inspiring. It's evident that you go above and beyond to ensure that all your students have the opportunity to shine.

That one little girl figured out that the answer to that problem was 201 in her head! I am an adult and I can barely calculate sums that large with the help of a calculator. This is why I am teaching kindergarten! I can't teach math at a level higher than that :)

Why would the teacher not allow for the student at moment 10:15ish to read the preface and other juicy tidbits that might be before page 13. Those first 12 pages could be filled with knowledge that the students can only get from reading that. Along with teaching students that they need to enjoy the complexity and nuances that happen with the book itself.

So profound in the presenters remark on the non-negotiable and targeting comprehension while branching out the engagement ideas. As the sciene teacher, making learning culturally relevant is urgent, but tapping into students' natural curiosity is also helpful. They will be happy to share when invited to.

Differentiated instructions must be based on really knowing students and their learning needs. It takes a great deal of planning and work. It must be an ongoing process and not used in lessons only on certain days of the month or week;; it must be continuous. It is also a searching process. It is similar to meeting a new friend, whose potential is based on facts and common ground or experiences. That common ground must be nourished via meaningful interactions to succeed.

This teacher was a very good example of expecting the best from a student regardless of family/social disadvantages. Her classroom management skills are exceptional.
