Just received mine yesterday, was doing the first tests and I found that the odor removal function being very very noisy: something like a motor running inside the top back of the enclosure, but touching plastic edges and creating a lot of noise, not sure if the problem could be a non-perfect flat surface below, did anything like this a happened to you?

@@regantupe8688 hahaha yep. It’s crazy the amount of people who have pointed that out in the comments. But that’s good. Means people are cautious and paying attention. I was in such a rush to make this video for a viewer, I didn’t even notice the cable placement until after I had filmed it. Do what I say and not what I do haha. Thanks for watching!

Thank you, for the blessed presentation. I did these checks on an ‘03 Mazda Tribute with a 3.0 V-6. I noticed no vacuum going to the EGR from the valve. I removed it, supplied power and ground to the EGR valve with a power probe, and no “click” at all (indicating the solenoid is not functioning, as you said). My question is, have you seen many faulty replacement EGR valves? The one I tested seems quite new. Just curious if you have ran across a few duds in your time. Be blessed, be well!

@@dafihabibi2846 no it does not have an internal battery. You can however, plug it into a battery pack as long as you use the correct type of USBC cable.

Please get a wireless lav mic. You may have valuable content, but listening to you yell at the little mic on the camera from across the room is an unnecessary annoyance. They aren’t much money and your production values will soar.

Nice video - I bought one about a year ago, BUT 2 days ago, the wifi stopped working on the TUYA app...We tried several things and still not work - I think something on the motherboard prob. fried or broken (no heat/or smoke thank God), but I DO HOPE that it will still work without wifi (no need to tell when my cat goes in/out/weight etc.) HOPE THIS STILL TURNS with the detector.... So not sure if it is reliable for long term vs. our other PETKIT one is still good and 2x more expensive!

Could you also just test with a multimeter on the ohms or Kohms scale? To test for open circuit?

The 1990 EVTM describes using a vacuum source. I'm using a dual set of vacuum gauges to monitor what is going on. What I'm using would not be detected with this test.

I've just tested a suspect valve and one port won't allow air through ( which is normal ) but when I blow through the other port air escapes from the small round cover on the back of the valve. When I connect it to a 12v battery it opens and allows air through so I know it's working, but when I blow through and cover the other port, air is still escaping from the back of the valve where a small round cover is.

Great video! Thank you! Quick question...KOEO...2019 F350 6.7...no power to solenoid. Tested solenoid by finding right pins in harness and supplying power...works. Bad PCM? What do you think next test is?

Good review, but you said you wouldn't spend £400 +, does that mean you paid less, you went somewhere elsd or this was given to you to do a review. Just thought it was a strange statement if you already have the product and one similar.

@@happydays9613 yes it was given to me free to review. I personally don’t need all the special features like app monitoring so if it was me I’d buy something cheaper, but if you’re someone who would like/use those type of features then it’s worth it. I will say, I’m pretty sure you can find this same litter box just marketed as a different brand for way less online. If it looks the same it most likely is. I have 2 of these and almost got a 3rd one from 3 different companies. The 2 I have I swear are made by the same company. Probably by some manufacturer in China.

Hi, watching your video in 2024, just a quick question, I checked my car egr solenoid harness and the power was 9.70v . Should I be concerned? I have nissan qashqai dci 2014 with codes P0403 and P0409.

@@ibneamin3925 I’ve never worked on Nissans, but yes it should be 12v. With that said, if your vehicles battery is reading 12v, that means somewhere between the battery and the EGR solenoid there’s a voltage drop. Common causes, a burnt/corroded wire, fuse panel or computer.

@@JohnYoung-b4f I use to have a link but since I got it on eBay, I had to keep updating it. Eventually, I just got tired of doing it. If you are interested in getting one like that just look up eZip throttle handle on eBay and you will eventually find it. Just make sure to look at the connector on the original handle to make sure you get one that will work.

@@sandorebussolini you do know the whole point of using a clamp meter is to read Amps right? If you are trying to learn how to test for Voltage you can check out my other video “How to use a Multimeter for beginners” in that video I show the basics on how to test for volts, amps and ohms.
