I saw them more times than I can remember. I loved this band. Doug Grey was/is a very nice guy.

It could only be better if they were actually playing and not lip synching to the studio version.

I first saw them in okc at a small venue with the Outlaws. Saw them 5 more times at least after moving to Houston. They always had CDB or the Outlaws. My Texas friends always wanted to go with them. Great times.

I was so glad when I seen them played in spring of 1972. I was 15 years old at the time. Great band and I will never forget this. Until, they broke up after September of 1972 I think. Damned shame though. They were great!

The first LP I purchased as a teenager was this album. I think it was called Willie and the Poorboys and I purchased it from a headshop in Denver Colorado in 1969 or 1970. I saw CCR in concert in 1972 at the Denver Colosseum along with BB King and Tony Joe White. I graduated from High School at the same Coliseum a few months later. 53 years have passed but I still remember the concert and I will never forget BB King playing the blues!!!
