Just a tip, when working with DC, instead of live and neutral, it's Positive and Negative. DC circuits typically use red and black wires.

Glad to see it running much better now. I never found it very pleasant to deal with a seized motor but it is very nice when it runs brilliantly again

I have a 16 inch version of this and it has a light in the neck of the base, had to fix it when I got it it was completely siezed solid. The speed control is normal mine is the same where it has low and high back to front

That is a Tesco DF96 9 inch desk fan it was a budget 9 inch desk fan that model came out arfter ghe 13th August 2005 a childhood fan of mine and I have one now

It's the ballast inside it they can sometimes buzz loud when the internal laminations become a little freed up because of the heat cycles. They can get up to 50 degrees in temperature

We love this - its small and kzbin.infoUgkxlmCcACUKg6nJKF53Fy9qNgPlHio1azE1 light so you can carry it around to another room with ease. My son can operate the switch super easy with the 3-speeds. And the openings around the fan are not wide enough for tiny fingers which is perfect if you have young ones in the house . We would definitely purchase this again.

I must admit it was a badge of an seazed unit. It's a 2006 ced that's still box new condition and is used daily. Preventative maintenance for the win

I honestly used to love Advent laptops. I used to keep breaking them so Dixons had to keep giving me replacements on cover plan because they were so badly built. I must have had at least 100 of these. A throwback to a simpler time.

i love the old switch start fluorescent lights my grandad used to take me to work when i was younger and the factory had a huge fluorescent lights and loved switching them on ive still got a load of the Philips sl cfl in my house still going strong
