How are the controls situated in that? I recently graduated from bridgerland for heavy equipment and have been fascinated with these, but me and my instructors couldn't really find any info on how it differs from a regular excavator.

Hi, here in finland we have used rotating devices more or less 20years, most popular are encgon and indexator rototilt. The modern come with new digging handles that have tumbwheel , leftside for tilting bucket rightside for rotating bucket. It takes some time to get used to do all movements at the same time but it is very efficient vs old fixed bucket. + it is easy and fast to switch bucket just release bucket from cockpitt and take another one in the mount. -Carl

@@carlhagg577 that's super cool! I've never even seen one in person, they look much more efficient. Can't wait till they start using them in the USA, they are so much cooler than the ones I get to use!

@@XanderCammack Where are you located? I own a small company in Indiana and recently had a Steelwrist tiltrotator installed on my mini ex. I can send you some HD pics of the joysticks installed on my machine if you like.

@@yaktually I live in Utah, I probably haven't seen one because everyone and there dog has komatsu equipment here

@@XanderCammack Wouldn't be a problem to fit one to any size Komatsu, they're just still very rare to see anywhere here in the states. Mine is one of only a handful in my state; I've never seen another in the wild. Leave your email or something if you want me to send pics of the set up.
