I think it all depends on which one you watched first or if you read the books first……I had the first 2 books but had never read them….then I discovered and watched the tv series first and I already liked the guy playing Jace in the tv version so I’m very partial to him, I love him as Jace ❤🔥🙂……I’ll be honest, after watching the whole tv series then I found and watched the movie, I liked the tv series best…..people say they don’t like how the tv series ended ( me kinda included ) but in the tv series defense they had a lot of material to wrap up in a very short amount of time and that’s what hurt them and we the tv series fans feel like we got robbed when they canceled the show. It was especially rough for us clary and Jace fans 😢
