Nah I never used stock X. I've always used Ebay. I buy and authenticate myself. Once I bought a pair off Ebay and they came with a Stock X tag and it didn't necessarily make me feel better. It was a great idea to offer authenticity guarantee though for a fee. Them letting fakes through isn't a surprise.

I'm still considering it, but leaning heavily toward not getting them. I think you should definitely take them on your trip, it's a perfectly functional shoe that you don't have to worry about messing up. Looks better with time ya kno?!

I agree with you that Stockx should have done more about accounts being hacked. I still use them for cheap pickups. I’m not using ANY platform for expensive sneakers. I’ll just miss. Got the Fears and 3s off SNKRS. I’m into 1s and Air Max 1s so I’m good. Glad folks have moved on from Jordan 1s. New follower.

Honestly, no one is going to be able to differentiate the difference between the 2018 and 2024 pairs, but us deep in the game 😂 I have a pristine pair from '18 but that '88 shape is calling my name 😊 Go with your gut and grab that 2024 pair queen!

I use StockX, GOAT, and eBay to make less hyped purchases. If I miss out, it's on to the next. I just came in from vacation so I missed the 14s I wanted so bad. I still want the DT Max 96 😂 I'm still bummed I didn't secure those 😞 I'm patient, and I'm still hoping to secure those retail.

ironically, i was browsing Stock X while watching the video. seriously. my opinion on Stock X has not changed. i use Stock X monthly. largely no issues. 63 purchases between now and late 2022. a handful or less of issues with them. i like stock x. i like goat. i like ebay. will continue using all of them - wisely. need the BC3s. peace Queen.

Honestly I'd prefer to pay for the volume 50 bleach (sister has a beautician license) and touch that part up. Plus I don't feel like paying over $200 for something I already have with slightly different features 😅

Sounds like your pair is still brand new.....so if it's me I'd pass. HOWEVER, if you are looking to get a similar pair to 1988 that's what the Remastered pair is supposed to provide.🔦👀

Was able to grab black toes, olive 9’s, and hit on the bc3 shock drop. Snagged a couple pair of jordan 1’s for 55 bucks a piece. November been good so far. Just wish they would’ve made extended sizes for the bred velvet 11’s
