@@RodGustavson Years ago We had a friend who was getting married to his same sex partner. The bakery said no problem on the cake but the day of the wedding the bakery said they were unable to do their cake for religious reasons. A year later that bakery was out of business. People who knew the couple took their business elsewhere. Like bud light people are going elsewhere.

The Quran doesn't say that. This is the speech of religious long bearded guys in mosques. I am confident to say they are ignorant but they are making a living off of it. The quran shames ppl that does nothing when someone oppresses them and those long bearded ppl they rely on the (اولي الامر) which means in this context the ppl who have better understanding in it. When you talk about Iraq before 2003 Iraq went from the richest and most advanced country in the Arabian gulf (if not in middle east) to a place where ppl are barely capable to feed their infants and themselves 400,000 ppl died in two wars that Iraqis gained nothing from. Also if you speak about the regime and how bad decisions affected the country you will disappear. Don't judge a book by its cover, you know nothing, neither in Islam nor in the political situation in Iraq. Saddam also was supported by the US to take over Iraq and assassinate its former president.

@@KingAmir23 Read ibn katheer, totally different concept and context and if you don't know Arabic read all what ibn katheer says not only allying cause here it doesn't mean being an ally other wise muslim allies that they refuged to when they were in mecca (Habasha) is contradiction.
