4 weeks is ridiculously short and yet you did extraordinarily well. I am guessing you are an high achieving student most of the time before your UCAT anyway right?

Yeah his result for 4 weeks is incredible! If you’re looking planning on sitting the ucat take it into consideration that some ppl take 6 months to prepare. It honestly depends on the person but you should start as soon as you can. Just don’t overload yourself with work and take it slow at the beginning

Read q, look at passage and deicide what u think is best, then find answer that matches urs Look for keyowrd, so conclusion is one Estimate like problem solving in QR ucat Medical ethics would be best so choose med Q, pillars medicsl ethics Plan ur cohesive argument, for against & conclusion, fake real life example is good, have a real fake example in first place

the fact I’m an American student who’s curriculum is WAY different then the United Kingdom’s, it’s makes me really scared to try to even take the BMAT cause I looked over the practice test and MANNNNN I’m not even close to understanding but it’s for the plot (aka my villian story) 😂😂

Basic approaches T F CT 1. look at q first. 2. pick out a keyword from question 3. scan passage - identify keyword and location 4. read sentence before and after to get context. 5. see if the keyword is elsewhere to see if there are any contradictions STATEMENT BASED 1. read options available 2. select keyword from the statement answer options 3. use similar to previous section technique (scan, identify, and read around) important skills - speedreading: don't vocalise all words you say in your head. get out of habit saying it in your head. SOLUTION: use cursor to read quicker. Chunking technique: read 3 chunks of words as you read. a. start with timed practice from the get go. b. note how many q you skipped c. if something can be inferred from the passage then it can be true.

Do you recommend starting to prepare for your A-levels before Year 13 during the summer? I've heard from people that you should start practising the content beforehand so you can allocate more free time to study for the BMAT later on. Thanks!

Hey. I’m a year 12 student going into yr 13 like you so idk if you want to listen to my advice but I asked my teacher this exact question and she said no. She said try and enjoy the summer as much as you can because year 13 is stressful and hard. Focus on personal statement, ucat etc. Hope this helps xx
