I agree. I have a couple of the more expensive Legacy Standard Bible translations, but I keep a small LSB in my car for everyday use, and I also give them as gifts. Great Bible, great translation.

I get what you’re saying. But for me, I had a lot of struggle with reading my Bible. And I thought that maybe if I get a really nice Bible that will help me or at least motivate me to read my Bible more, and lo and behold it did. Nothing wrong with simplicity, but I used the premium looking Bibles as a tool to get me to read my Bible more. I know some people don’t have that ability, but if you do is a great tool to help you, at least it was for me.

I absolutely Love the LSB! I really enjoy reading from as well. I have the hardcover version of the LSB MacArthur study Bible, and it’s pretty nice as well. I didn’t think it would be since it was cheaper, but it’s actually pretty nice.

I use the Handbook for Praying Scripture every single day! It's my favorite devotional companion.

Love all of these! I have these and then have also gotten "Cloud of Witnesses" from Crossway by a friend of mine Zach Carter and Jonathan Arnold.

Would have loved this one in my 20’s and 30’s. Like you, my eyes have too many miles on them. I love the large print single column personal size though.

I was not a fan of this Bible. I got it in the mail and immediately sent it back. The page quality was china print. The art gilding was plasticy. The font was so tiny. I also felt it didn’t lay flat.

Nice review and nice little Bible if one's aim is something akin to the Pitt Minion. It seems like for the size and features you're better off just getting their large print compact reference, which also has a larger (8pt) font. It's smaller (4x6) but a bit chunkier than this one. So many choices...

I just subscribed and I agree those are nice. I would like the Psalms one with the spiral though. I'm curious how much space they give to Psalm 119 on that one.

When it comes to study Bibles, I love hardback study Bibles. All my other Bibles are your typical leathersoft, imitaion leather, genuine leather, goatskin, etc., etc. I like hardback study Bibles because I can use them intensly without worry of damaging them. And when I am done I can store them and display them on my shelf. I agree with you there is something great and humbling about a good hardback Bible. Yes, most hardback Bibles are underrated. Great video Brother! I am a sucker for study Bibles and there is no way I could afford the collection I have if I was getting them in premium covers. I started getting them in hardcover for the price but quickly found (for a lot of the reasons you pointed out) that I really preferred hardcover for things like a study Bible. I agree that they look great on the shelf, especially since most will come with very well done dustcover, but also because they sit very well on their ends. Keep up the great content!

Amen! We are to live simple lives and not love this fallen world. Materialism and hedonism has taken over the USA...for decades. "Christians" are lovers of money just as much as non- Believers. Jesus' prayer said, "Give us THIS DAY our DAILY BREAD...," not "Give us riches to last a lifetime. There was a reason He taught that. 😊 God bless you, brother!!!
