Trout are out of season on rivers from October to march if you had a licence you would no that.

You can use lollipop sticks that you can order on ebay as they have massively stopped using plastic gor cotton bud sticks now.

Thanks for the review, I've just ordered one myself (based on your review) as I'm getting back into sea fishing and only have my old steadfast beachcaster from years ago. Shame they didn't wrap the tip but as you said I'll have tip lights fitted so it won't matter. Liked and subscribed.

They’d be good for Dabs and maybe Sole, shame Southsea isn’t any good for them. Still plenty of Bream about, Squid is all you need. Good video and good luck.
