Well done mate....I've fished similar waters full of little rudd. Fish deeper with bread flake or sweetcorn while spray maggots out....that way you'll pick up bigger fish that sit deeper

I actually won this set up in a competition quite a few years ago it was my first time using a fly rod and it was a very good rod for the price its a good beginner set up if you haven't got a big budget

Lidl used to sell a redish-silver 4000 size "live-liner" reel for about £15. They were an absolute bargain. They didn't have the quality or durability of a Penn, but they worked and worked and worked.

Awesome upload. A school bass 16:32. Squat lobster, whelk, Corkwig wrasse, goby, Swimmer crab, pollock. The fish that seemed to be a flatfish going through was a Dragonet. It's the same fish that you see in the middle of the picture a couple of seconds later. I used to keep them in my Coldwater UK marine tank.

Unlucky martin i fish on right hand corner sending baits out towards shipping channel had black bream to 11/2 lb and smoothounds to over 15lbs off tq, my pb bass8lb 4oz came off the left side of concrete block on freelined whole pout at low water.

I'm shocked u never connected with any of those bites mate u had a good few decent ones
