Unfortunately only two things spoilt this video, the complete lack of any lighting in the venue, and the really annoying stage invasion and cats chorus during this classic LTS anthem! Never understood why people think it is OK to do this at gigs other punters have paid good money to go and see.

Thanks Justin. If I'm honest I was a little disappointed with the sound quality in the end. It could have, and should have been much much better, but my hands were tied a bit having to use the live recording we already had. To which Billy done an amazing job of adding his own vocal to, which he recorded in Japan for me!

Nice deck, I acquired mine used and in great shape. Only caveat?? The piss poor seven segment LED meters. Ten segments (minimum) for good recording, fifteen or more is best. The KX-260 two color meters are red and orange, not a good combo as it's hard to see where 0dB is. Still though, I like this deck. Dolby B + C and HXPro and a good stable transport. I really like the Play Trim feature. A swell playback only deck, recording can be challenging. Nice video of sweet looking stuff. Uh, what's that thing on the top right side of the component stand?????????

I was there. This was done in the small room. The other stage had all the big names and really I thought that they could have been anybody including The Chords UK. When I arrived I asked the engineer if he knew whether SW would really be there and after a bit of explaining he said 'Oh you mean the lot that didn't turn up for the soundcheck'. About 20 minutes before they were due they arrived looking like they'd come on the tube and proceeded to set up. I watched John Wratten have a conversation with the engineer and saw John point to his amp as if to say that they didn't need to worry about levels or whatever and the guy sort of shrugged his shoulders. They opened with Do Anything without any fuss and I couldn't help but think of those films I've seen of The Beatles turning up at The Washington Coliseum or wherever with no help other that from Mal Evans.

The set list included a lot of early ones. In only the order I can remember them it might have included: When I Think Of All The Times First Impressions Purple Julia Peace Of Mind Gangland Warfare Liberty Love Is Dead We Met About A Week Ago. For You Stupidity Street Tomorrow Never Comes Way Of The World Teenage Kicks Afterglow I reckon there were 2 - 3 others.

i just got mine yesterday and having trouble setting it up. How did you get it sitting so well lined up like that?
@ianwalton7893
@ianwalton7893 5 жыл бұрын
Hi, all projectors can be a little tricky to line up initially, which is why a permanent instillation is always better if possible. Generally speaking (but not for all projectors) If the projector is being used with a screen then the centre of the lens should be inline with the bottom of the screen, or if inverted, the top of the screen. It should also be set exactly square on to the screen in both plains. if the top of the lens is at an angle making it closer to the screen than the bottom of the lens you will have a picture that is narrower at the top and wider at the bottom. Same goes but other way round if the bottom of the lens is closer. Manual keystone correction is provided to try and correct this but it is always best if you can not use this as it can distort the picture slightly too. Same theory applies to one side of the lens being closer to the screen than the other giving a wider picture to one side of the screen. The slightest fraction of movement can make massive differences to the projected picture, hence why it can be tricky to set up correctly, and hence why it is best not moved once set up. This applies to all projectors not just the cheaper ones, although more expensive projectors do a better job of compensating. hope this helps some.

@@ianwalton7893 super helpful reply thanks alot mate! can i ask what distance you have the projector at here and what size that screen is? i have a 96 inch screen so wondering what distance would be best
@ianwalton7893
@ianwalton7893 5 жыл бұрын
@@tubz89 I can't remember the exact distance, I'm estimating looking at the lawn that it was approx 3.5m to 4m back, but seen as these cameras don't have a zoom feature its just a matter of moving it back until it fills your screen. This screen is 120" probably getting close to the maximum realistic useable size for this projector.
