Hey man, people make mistakes, but only some people assume they made them, and you are one of them. Just come back with your videos and show the world how interesting ww2 is,a big hello from Brazil🫡

Great to see you practicing living history and using your imagination. Boiling water is faster and more economical if you cover the cooking pot with the associated fry pan / cup.

One thing I will say is that you're mess tin has the incorrect side bales, meaning that it is a post-war check make or west German.

Those are some neat items. The medal is the War Medal 1939-1945. It was instituted in August of 1945 and was awarded for 28 days of service during the war. The ribbon however is the incorrect ribbon and is instead for the Italy Star. Most medals were struck in cupronickel while Canadian ones were made of silver. Although I can’t tell very clearly, the way your medal is toned suggests that there is a possibility that it is a silver example. Great video!

Thank you for the amazing description, do you know a place where you can buy the original ribbons. And I think indeed that it is a silver one😏

@@ww2historykeeper347 It may depend on where you’re located, but they should be pretty common. I’m sure you can easily find them online with sites like eBay. I’ve seen people online who have original rolls of these ribbons and will cut off pieces to sell. Hope this helps.

You should look into a original esbit, these post-war ones are very different then the wartime esbits. Also the shokokola tin has a very different shape then the wartime ones. Items like that you better buy original as there are no good reproductions of it. 1 tip stay away from epicmilitaria if you wanna take the hobby seriously 😉
