Just have Eli make putts while only staring at the hole regardless of outcome.

so in a free throw, you usually line yourself on the line first. Can't you do that on a putt. Get yourself lined up first and then spend time looking at the hole and feeling the putt. It takes me longer to feel the speed once i'm lined up than it does to actually line the putt up.

Recently found your podcast and now into season 2. Listening as I drive to and from the course each day. Obviously I am a few years behind, but where do you guys stand on your GHIN numbers now? This is a very cool video BTW. I started a You Tube channel trying to do the same thing as you guys...getting there. Keep going fellas!

This may be the most important golf video I’ve ever seen. Although Phil Mickelson’s 50 yard chip video was also up there.

Thank you for reminding me why my longest flat drive was 290 starting this year and who I have found the shanks. I stood up and pushed back and up on my left foot and the rythmn returned instantly. I often tell new golfers to not go down the KZbin rabbit hole because it's too much. They need to learn the foundation and go from there. I know about lift and driving my feet into the ground. Trapping and grip and all that. I'm crisp at times and unpolished on certain shots. Was a short game beast around the green today. Chipping within 3 for up and downs. Found some fairways with this weird push right when I normally have a slight fade when it all works. I call it timing, or synching, but you are dead right when you said left leg. My buddies newbie girlfriend said I wasn't rotating🤦 20 years in on this crap and she was right. I've been so focused on shot shape, and the hard iron shots that are awesome to hit, that I have left my game naked. I now firmly believe that the rabbit hole, is where you should live to stay on top of you game. I learned grip adjustments and was reminded of the basics. We play with the clubs in the bag and the game we brought that day. Adjusting in the moment is key. Problems without solutions cause bad scores.

This is a hard move to train yourself to do and has to happen much earlier than you think as everything happens so fast if you wait you're too late and it will lead to lots of miss hits as you learn it and that's the issue. Most PGA teachers are outcome biased because their students are, we want simple quick fixes we can take to the course tomorrow, this isn't one of them although that golfer makes it look so but he's very good, I'd love to be able to go to that TPI centre.

So long as you are not using more shaft lean than you have bounce, having the ball back in your stance is absolutely safe and you can hit the ground first. See Dan Grieve book on this method.
@apaulmcdonough217015 күн бұрын
That's only for DG's Release 1, when you Want the Ball to Roll Out. And even then "Ball Back with extra Shaft Lean" is a specialty variation of Release 1.

Im a self taught golfer which badically means I watched every athletic motion golf video etc to understand the mechanics and film myself. However that approach sometimes puts me into a too robotic mode where I think I need to hit these positions and the tempo and smoothness goes out of the window. This video shows me how important good intuitive coaching is as I tried these things on the video and it automatically changed my swing forever. Thanks!

Great video for PROVING ⛳️💥💥🏌🏾 is not stagnant to the possessed people who think it is, some people have more of a noticeable trigger movement than others. I get criticized lots for Rock’n but most people think I’m swaying, my sequencing and timing works great with Rock’n I’m 47 years old 7 iron goes around 190y 🤷🏽♂️.

So. Here goes. I doubt this gets picked up, but you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Gentleman. I, a new golfer as of last season, shooting around 105 a round, stumbled upon your podcast about 2 months ago and have been binging it every since. I am NOT traditionally a podcast listener, you two have converted me. I am now at season 4, episode 2 and am currently cheering you guys on for the comeback as Mike is changing in the parking lot. I couldn't resist the urge anymore to come here and see your faces for the first time. I have purposely avoided your Twitter and other social medias to avoid any spoilers. But this, I had to do. I just wanted to say, you two are nothing at all what I pictured in my head, but I think this actually makes things so much better. Now you two are real. Human like the rest of us, just 2 guys playing golf and documenting the journey. Not legends or celebrities in my head. (You are though.. legends I mean.) Love the content, can't wait to be caught up so I can hopefully interact more. Keep up the great work. And just for fun.. Stalone vs Arnold. If you had to delete one of them from history, which would it be and why? Cheers gentleman.
