This intro actually foreshadow the dark truth of the story. The portrait of organs, body parts, human anatomy, and how all the girls faces flashes when Nozomu catches the fallen girl, even "嘘" on Kafuka's face. That wasn't just a random artistic stuff. These all make sense after we know the ending in the manga.
