Whyd she say "there's no smiling. You can't do that." Just curious
@JuliaKeneally4 ай бұрын
she was being sarcastic. the kid was probably trying not to smile but couldn't help it because she was proud of herself.

It was a joke, she was so focused, when she did it correctly she started smiling. When I say " "there's no smiling in horses, or you can't smile", they smile more. My students get it.

Thank you for the understanding comments. I'm the instructor in the video and it's baffling to me that me wearing a mask to prevent illness due to my compromised immune system & anaphylaxis (from my MANY environmental allergies), was so offensive to other people. It's not like they have to wear it lol 🤣🙄

People in the comments need to stop dictating what other's should or shouldn't wear, they can wear a mask if they fucking want to

Horses collect and kick up lots of dirt and dust. I used to help with kid's horse camp in the early 2000s, and it wasn't uncommon to end up having the inside of your nose start to turn all crusty and brown by the end of the day. Such as life in the dry Kentucky summer... Thankfully I hadn't developed allergies at that point. If I was still doing that, I'd probably have to wear a mask too! Smart lady for planning ahead!

Take your mask off. You're outside. Those kids want to know you want to be there, not hide behind that mask.

Being cautious isn't a bad thing. I see too many videos of kids messing around too early. I'm sure she'll gain confidence as she gets more time. Thanks for making the videos. Do you show the videos to the students.m? I bet they would learn more watching themselves as you tell them what they are doing right or correct what they could do better?
