A good start but if you want more subs you need to edit your videos so they show in English what each ingredient you use is before you add it. And you need to post a written recipe in the description or a link to your blog with the written recipe in English.

Thank you so much for your advice! From now on, I’ll include a link in the description so you can easily access the recipe. By the way, you can find the recipe for this video right here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2jHaa2jeMx1qtE

Your voice is very soothing to listen to! The chicken came out looking very delicious, though I am a little worried about the lack of spices haha. I like very spicy food, though, and that seems easy enough to add to this dish. Thank you for sharing! I'm wondering, did you remove the bone from the chicken thigh yourself? Or do you buy them that way with no bones from the store?
@jandl_cooksАй бұрын
I’m so glad you liked my voice! Honestly, I was quite nervous about it. Adding some spicy seasoning or chili would definitely enhance the flavor. I used boneless chicken thighs from the store, though you can debone them yourself-just be sure to handle the knife carefully!

It looks delicious, but let me make a few comments: Suancai is not prepared by pickling in vinegar. It is fermented naturally with the addition of salt. Olive oil is not used in Asian cuisine. Ground meat becomes even tastier if it is well fried to a light brown color, so it is best to add suanсai after the ground meat is fully fried. Toban Djan should be fried in oil, so it should also be added after the minced meat is fried, but before adding the suancai.
@jandl_cooks3 ай бұрын
Wow, thanks for the detailed explanation about Suancai! I feel silly for thinking it was just pickled in vinegar. It’s amazing that it can be pickled in salt too! I know that olive oil isn’t typically used in Asian cooking, but I avoid other vegetable oils for health reasons. Of course, I use the kind of olive oil that can be heated. I hope you understand. Next time, I’ll try cooking it again, following the order you suggested! Please know that I’m not a perfect expert-I’m also learning along the way!

Which Chinese people? What restaurants? What's the name of the dish? Nobody is ordering this in China.
@jandl_cooks3 ай бұрын
I'm not Chinese, but when I see countless Chinese dishes, I always think Chinese people are truly amazing. Sometimes, when I visit a Chinese restaurant, I notice menus written in Chinese for their Chinese customers. I try to use a translator to read them, but I still don't quite get it. Plus, there always seems to be something different between what I order and what the Chinese customers order. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has noticed this. That’s why I’ve always been so curious!

Beef shank tender after only 1 hour??
@jandl_cooks3 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your comment, and sorry for the late reply! Beef shank is indeed quite a tough cut of meat, but surprisingly, when simmered in liquid, it softens fairly quickly-though it still needs at least an hour. Depending on your preference, you might want to simmer it even longer than an hour, but after at least 60 minutes, it should turn out pretty tasty. If you're aiming for an even more tender texture, you can definitely add more liquid and continue cooking for a longer time.

@jandl_cooks6 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching Yes, gochujang and doenjang should be easy to find in any Asian supermarket. If you can't find Korean doenjang, you can always buy Japanese miso. If you live in Berlin, I don't think it's too hard because there's more than one AsiaMart in Alexanderplatz alone, but if you're in another city, you'll have to look for one nearby.
