OK, so you all ready got one point very wrong, therefore can't be trusted on other point,... David did NOT order Absalom executed... in fact just the opposite. David told them NOT to kill his son.... the person that killed Absolum disobeyed David.

King David did NOT want Absolom killed. Absolom's death occurred due to his pride. His hair was long, and very beautiful. When fleeing on horseback, his hair became caught in branches, which led to his being slain. David wept so bitterly and long, his most senior men had to admonish him and bring him to his senses.

Joab's story is an intriguing one. Joab was by David's side in so many pivotal points of his life and saved the day on many occasions. Joab probably felt that Solomon was not the rightful heir given he was not first in line and was born to Bathsheba who was from the family of Ahitophel who sided with Absolom.

@@abrahamgideon Joab was a loyal soldier of great valor, still he disobeyed David where this is concerned. I do think it so apropos Absolom died in the manner he did - after what he did to his father when he deposed David. Yet David loved him. I believe this is one of the main reasons David was called a man of God's own heart. He was ever willing to forgive, yet Absolom's fate means justice always prevails in the end. This is why it is so important the unsaved repent while able, for tomorrow is promised to no one. Absolom ran out of time.

I can only speak from my own experiences! I have had a few serious health issues that brought me close to the other side! I can say this! I went somewhere and it was indescribably beautiful but I will try ! The sunlight was brilliant! The grass was a vibrant green and manicured like a golf course green! I went up a small hill where I saw my relatives at a picnic table with red and white checkered tablecloth! I could see a steaming bowl of corn on the cob ! I could see and hear my closest relatives but I wasn’t invited to sit with them! I woke up and felt a peace that was a great comfort to me! I don’t fear dying anymore! It was like going from one room into another! Blessed be the Name of the Lord!

@@jameslalley3787 you had a dream. Whether a day dream or night time dream, it was a dream. You dreamt those things perhaps because of what was on your mind. In the Bible it says that when a person dies, they lose all consciousness and have no more reward. So there is no Hell and there is no Heaven. There is nothing at all. You simply return back to the dust from which we all came. There we remain until God chooses whether to resurrect us or not based on how we chose to live our lives. If not, we simply remain dead. If yes, then God restores our body and mind back to what we once had to live on Earths Paradise. This will happen after his great war of Armageddon.

What about spirits ghost and the paranormal, the body dies but not the soul spiritual beings is our true nature, until Jesus Christ comes back to restore and raise the body's of the dead.

@@smallwonder7311 According to the Bible, there are no spirits or ghosts who were formally living people who have died. The possibility of Ghosts or Spirits is only possible through Satans demons pretending to be someone they’re not. For example a dead loved one.

Our body is a soul. When a person dies their body returns to dust and they simply cease to have consciousness. They remain dead until God chooses to resurrect them or not. This is Biblical, the creator’s words on death. There is no heavenly life for most, there is no eternal damnation in hell. Those teaches are false and absolutely not scriptural . So what happens when we die? We simply cease to exist.

Nobody leaves the earth until the very end. My theory is that when you die you come back as the next person born in the family. Until Jesus comes back this is where we are.
