I watched your climbing video with the killer clam rake I was going to get that rake myself until I discovered the teeth are not 1 inch apart it's smaller therefore not legal. They look like Great rakes but if the gap between teeth are not 1 in or bigger that illegal so I didn't get it.

Is it a preference do you guys prefer using spinning reels for this application?
@KingKonAdventure
@KingKonAdventure 28 күн бұрын
With these rods, it’s better to use spinning reel with the lures.
@SaltyDogFishingCharters
@SaltyDogFishingCharters 24 күн бұрын
It is purely preference. The action of these Douglas ERA rods are perfect for bucktailing Fluke. Minimal movement of your wrist creates an excellent jigging action on your bucktail.

The craziest fish I've seen on the deck are mahi mahi and cobia. It's best to put both straight in the cooler and close the lid until they calm down and you can get the hook out safely. A little mahi like that isn't very dangerous but big ones break things on decks. Cobia too. Anything over 3' can hurt you.
