I know I am late to the party. I am going to buy my daughter one for Christmas. This will primarily used in a church parking lot. She has narrowed it down to the Nova Fox, Hotshot 2, Boomerang, Manta Ray, and this car. Which would you recommend and why? Can you rank them as far as durability and accessibility to parts? Bro it's not a crawler xd but still getting one to try keep up with my son's hpi vorza 1/8 I think I'll add a brushless set up on it also the ftx mauler is great for crawling ones you upgrade the plastic diff in the punking too the metal it's perfect :D

I have just finished my Blackfoot build , personally i think these cars are best left on the shelf for display ,they are not built for heavy driving ,they look great but the plastic is not up for abuse ,the steering is awful and the suspension is not great.

Did you buy the electronics separately? I'm new to rc drifting and am looking to buy a car. I don't know the pricing or what I need. I was looking at these and the yokomo yd2s. I'm not trying to spend a ton of money. Just wanna know what I need exactly and how much it'll cost roughly.

2 years late but I recently bought a brushless version, has some blue aluminium upgrades but broke the plastic chassis after sending it into a fence haha. Just glad repairs are easy and not too expensive, Im new to rc. Good video, excellent car for the price

Get a good cutting bit (CRC, T-Works, GP Speed Tires)! Then there will be no smell and also less strain on all components.

Hi! Ooooh yeaaah, love these "Toy - Yota" sooo much! At 1'40" is it driftin' in High Gear! So realistic, so scale! It's 100% like the 1/1... "A Defender brings you in the jungle... But only a Landcruizer brings you back out"... I am not sure... Have you leaf springs mounted? Sorry for my bad english, man! Hope you understand me! I think the blue looks really good. It was a nice surprise to see a different color. I regret getting the lunchbox. I think the beetle is the superior kit, even if only slightly. The lunchbox absolutely does not want to steer in the grass for whatever reason (bump steering??). Such a disappointment.
