I spent most of my Brat years in DoDDS schools in Berlin, Bamberg, Munich and Stuttgart (RB & Pattonville). Never enjoyed the civilian schools. I recognized the elementary school being built at Robinson Barracks (RB) in Stuttgart @2:15.

I used to be a military Brat myself, moving around many times... Hearing those kids talking about their struggles, while trying to act strong and positive, makes me sad and angry at the same time. When i look in their eyes, all i see a lot of pain, even if their mounth is wearing a smile. Looking back at my childhood, i honestly hated that lifestyle. I hate reading memes like "we're military brats, we feel home everywhere". No we don't! We just have to, and it's hard...

How is the healthcare? Where would the civilian employees go for health care? Is there a VA facility?

Güven Hospital It has a team of multiple language speaking assistants for you The healthcare system is in my opinion much more effective than the US You go directly to a specialist It’s cheaper I had knee surgery there and it was a perfect process
