As humans we naturally try to stay within our comfort zone, because that feels safe. Experiences that help us grow, transform, and often have great rewards, are uncomfortable at first because it's unfamiliar. Sure, it's easier to avoid that. But facing the challenges or the unfamiliar will cause you to rise up and increase your capacity to handle it ;) And I could handle it. Yes, it was overwhelming. I cried. I hated it at first. I let myself feel the the emotions and then pass through me. And I didn't mind sharing that vulnerable moment with you all. But I get that most people think being "tough" and pushing down your emotions is how you handle things. Or they only do things they think they can handle. You're seeing the initial shock. Even a day later I loved it! It taught me many wonderful things and helped me connect more with myself. I had a feeling it would do this... Which is why I took the leap, even though I had to go through a little discomfort to get there 😊💕✨

I'm speaking to how I felt in the moment. I thought the act itself would feel a certain way and it turned out very different. Waiting any amount of time wouldn't change my recall of the experience ;)
