I would have audio recording on! Most cameras are not great at reading plates. If you have audio on you could verbally read the plate, and it would be stored on your card. One issue with the cabin camera is I wish it were adjustable so I could record police interactions. That could save your butt as well!

Please please please. I'm hoping someone can answer this for me. I'm looking at getting ring alarm system but want to know if you can have separate alarm zones. So I will have 45 sensors downstairs and 1 upstairs. At night I want to arm only downstairs and when away I want to arm all. Does this make sense?

Thank you for this information. It was helpful. I recently changed the batteries in three motion detectors. But when I armed the system, the system is not detecting motion. I’m not getting any reading on the keypad that there’s an issue with the motion detectors. Is there something I need to do after changing the batteries? I should add that I have the same Honeywell Ademco Vista series that’s in your video.

Great video, but I also was hoping for how to get to the battery in the keypad. No where on the internet can I find how to change the battery in the keypad. I have a 6290WC and I do not want to bust the unit trying to open it. I've even contacted ADT and even vague info from them. I'm sure because they want to send someone out so they can charge me. If you have a video on how to pop the keypad open I would love to watch that!!!

LOL press the lock button while installing the battery. The computer is smarter than I am! I changed my door from lh to rh and took the whole lock apart before getting smart and looking up how to do it. 😊

Worked in IT for a long time and i find myself pretty capable of figuring stuff out but this crap drove me nuts. i consider myself a bit of a Google fanboy but the reset process is just plain stupid... it should not have been this difficult (and i shouldn't have started drinking before i attempted it lol) . i just wasn't waiting long enough when the orange/yellow light started and kept doing it over and over again until I found your video.
