You don’t even know how much this episode impacted me. I never listed to your podcast. SubhannAllah this the first episode I ever heard. I cried when I heard the Quran at the end. I have not cried like that for a long time. I felt lost and empty for so long. I always wanted to get closer to my Deen but somehow I felt like a failure all the time. Thank you for inspiring me. May Allah bless you.

I learnt that: - Mistakes don't define us - True love exists - To know my body, learn about my body - Allah is there for us, even when we don't know it - Everyone goes through faith struggle, even though the loneliness makes it feel otherwise. - To trust and believe in myself I pray that Allah grants Leema and her family so much goodness, that he grants her and her husband righteous, loving and beautiful children who will be the coolness of their eyes for them. I pray that Allah keeps the love and peace between Leema and her husband🤲🏽. Jazakallahu Khayran. May Allah reward all of TDS and grant us all ease and soon much goodness in this life and hereafter 🤲🏽🤍

My favourite thing about this story is how current it is as she spoke about it. I think it's important to share stories while in the midst of the struggle, it feels real and therapeutic to the heart of those with the same or similar struggles.

I remember staying up late the night of April 15, 2023 with the news on for no reason before the hour of the war started, then suddenly on Facebook and on the news were saying that Sudan is at war. We tried to communicate with my family in Sudan we couldn’t cuz the electricity was cut and no one was able to communicate with anyone and everyone was freaking out cuz they couldn’t really get a hold of anyone. As a Sudanese I’m genuinely praying for Sudan cuz you know way too many wars happened and the fact that Sudan isn’t spoken about much like Palestine. Keep all the muslim countries in your duals!!!!!!

I love this one. Never heard anything like whatever that poetry was. I have no idea what was said but the emotion conveyed in the voice transcends translation. And then the stories and conversayions were so beautiful. Shoutout to all the moms 💜

Another great story. And the ad placement was strategically less jarring. I am getting comfy and cozy and caught up in this podcast! This episode helped me remember that its a blessing to have to deal with aging parents, even though it can be wildly stressful.
