It is a great flick. I actually thought Cage played a character worth watching in that one.

just a quick correction Zoe Quinn's review thing was actually the Quinnspiracy "Gamergate" was a term coined about the gamerjournopros group wherein journalists coordinated a narrative, largely driven by the quinnspiracy it was coined by Adam Baldwin - Baldwin made it clear he didn't care about someone's "personal picadilloes", but was speaking to the journalistic problems

Soapbox time 📦: As someone who teaches Sunday school but is also a huge nerd of "secular" media, I believe that the same Spirit of creation that brought the world into existence still exists in each of us today--whether you have a relationship with God or not--and that Spirit is what drives us as beings of creation from inventing the plane to just feeling excited about the latest movie that came out. It does make me sad that this idea of restricting secular media when raising or teaching kids just because it isn't "Christian" is what teachers and/or parents think will protect their kids (I think that is harbored very much by evil spirits of control and fear and can be seen in movements like Moms for America attacking literature and trying to ban books in schools and libraries as an example of spiritual influence). We live in a sinful world that was corrupted since Eden, and children are going to be exposed to all kinds of stuff, but it is important to have discussions with children and talk openly and unashamedly about things we may be concerned with whether it be violence, sexual content, "witchcraft"(whatever the heck that even is as Christians seem to slap that label on everything nowadays), etc. I believe Spirit of creation can be twisted and manipulated in the spirit world, but as long as we are making the teachings and instructions of Jesus and Paul (love your enemies, fruits of the spirit, how to protect your mind and spirit with the armor of God, how to use the Word as a weapon, our authority and identity in Christ, etc.) the focus of our values in the household and teaching kids how to live by these values while giving them a safe environment to grow and learn and developing a connection of love with them, you should not have to worry about the Holy Spirit guiding them in their lives. I am a strong believer that children as well as adults can learn from anything and almost everything whether it is Christian content or secular content. Lay your foundation on the Word, develop a close relationship with God and his Spirit, and talk WITH your kids about WHY your household has certain values instead of just telling them they can't watch something because it "isn't Christian." Phew! Okay, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

This was released on a sing a long collection following the backlash for the bunny song: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqWUeaR4a9mUpcksi=RP6E1AqYtHBSOF3G I lived through the controversy, and I remember our mom telling us not to sing it. I also remember every grownup being very upset over those exact lyrics. Imagine your own kids watching a Christian cartoon and then singing "I won't go to church".

The kickstarter in question was Kickstarted in the Butt: A Chuck Tingle Digital Adventure The funding goal was $69,420 as in 69 and 420 actual funding reached $85,448 It was to be an FMV (Full Motion Video) game a'la Night Trap (pub 1992) etc with a deliberately camp aesthetic The game was to be based, at least thematically, on the writings of Chuck Tingle (nom de plume), author of gay erotica parody ebooks Last update appears to be 30 Aug 2018 the content of which is behind a backer paywall

Xbox is both a services brand and a platform. In terms of game revenue Microsoft is projected to jump above Sony to second place behind Tencent. For a brand that trains people to not buy games, they are still doing well. I don't think Xbox as a brand is in trouble, just in transition.

Media manipulation? Your not talking about Rupert Murdoch, your talking about shitty science communication. Lol yall don't understand lefty's at all, their glazing Kamala coz they want lefties to vote. that doesn't mean they don't also have gripes with her. Why was covid reporting saying a similar phrase, 1 they are getting their info from the same place probably CDC, and which might have also included how best to report on covid. 2 this is not even a covid thing many tv new stations are owned by a small handful of companies and they'll give the same copy paste story to everyone.

@48:30 Steven nailed it on the head right there! I'm a huge advocate for how people treat children and what you speak into their lives. Speak life and light and encouragement into them and treat them with respect but coach them in their emotions and behavior on a level they can understand. Children are our future and they need to know they can be safe and loved. I don't think there is such a thing as a "problem child," that's just a label given to people who have given up.

A few things to add. The idea of the philosophy was that you had to demonstrate that you were willing to put "The Group" ahead of yourself before being able to make decisions for "The group". You could become a citizen through other means than Military service (The book points out that only 10% gained citizenship that way). Other paths involved varies humanitarian projects and necessary tasks that were needed to keep society a good place, but wasn't very attractive from a financial or social status point. It wasn't meant to give you a martial culture. It was meant as a "Crucible" to demonstrate that you were willing to suffer discomfort for the good of everyone before you were allowed to make decisions for everyone (or have minor input on such decisions). The point is you could live in incredible comfort without actually achieving citizenship. Rico's family is a great example of this. Very wealthy business owners who had a family tradition of not taking the citizenship test. As his father put it "Stayed out of politics".
