Woooow thank you so much. This video was dear to my heart and I wanted to speak in depth about it but the constant comments about the background music demotivated me all together.

@@MerveilleKthe background music actually brought much peace in a moment where I was crying my eyes out. I knew I should put some worship music on in that moment but I just wasn’t doing it. I wanted to listen to testimonies non stop… Your video was the only one with worship music… out of like 20 I watched that day. I really needed it

Sorry but that's far too many handling the hair I'm sorry but if they don't know just explain to them gently exactly what to do it's okay & you can use natural herbs to relax the hair that give beta result than relaxers😊

I would never get my hair done somewhere with such a communication/language barrier, even with a translator app there are still bound to be misunderstandings just from cultural differences, they probably didn't see such a problem with this and thought they were helping you. This is probbaly what they thought when you said "straighten." it's just asking for a disaster to happen

That's why everyone should learn each other's language. They wanted to make sure they made their customer happy and she wanted to ensure they knew what she wanted. A wash deep condition come out and style..since she was mad about the perm

The moment I saw that "protein treatment" being applied to your head, I was like why tf they perming your hair....Then when you asked to see what they were putting in your hair I wasn't even surprised.

I can’t believe they relaxed or permed her hair. This is the worst hair video I’ve ever seen and she should have sued them. Permanently chemically straightening a black persons hair without their consent is one of the worst things you could ever do. This made me cry. Quite frankly they were greedy for money and lazy to put in the work. Of all the videos I’ve watch of other ethnicities doing Black hair this is the worst I’ve ever seen. The Italian guy tried, the Ukrainians tried. Literally everyone else tried and these lot not only couldn’t be bothered but added seriously harmful topical chemicals to her hair against her wishes, without her consent and without knowing the effects. Most perms can cause fibroids, cysts and infertility. This was very badly done and they knew it was wrong that why they didn’t want to show her the packet 😢. It takes a lot of time to naturally grow black hair and transition they have no idea what they have done 😣.

In all honesty, they did a good job if only that’s what you wanted but because it was not, and they lied about it not being a perm then they did NOT do a good job in this case. Regardless, you’re beautiful and I’m glad you have made peace. You are a beautiful woman sister. 🤎🤎

They were checking thee elasticity of your hair…. As dry as it looks they didn’t want to put heat or chemical on it and it break off. They obviously don’t perm your hair without rods in. They ran a perm thru to pull some of the curl out. Why are your shocked???? Hello they probably don’t have the proper product to do your hair, but they were trying to best they could with what they had. Grrrrr these poor people have oh to deal with you!!!! Go to a salon THAT can do your type of hair or stop bitching.

I would file a lawsuit if you agreed on no chemicals. I know if all that pretty hair had fallen out you would have done so. How dare they refuse to initially show you what they are using. Too much!

im sorry for what you went through but also it seems they dont customers like us, so to them it was like a first time thing and maybe they wantes to help. plus they worked really hard. i think it would have been easier if you washed your hair in their salon, and they could have blow dry, and then straighten it. but when you went there it was already dry and i think they were looking at it to see how to make it softer to make it work easier for them to straight it.

Just wow, I would’ve ask to see everything they will use 1st before they applying anything, like where is the natural oils & ingredients at? If the stylist is not mixing oils & natural ingredients according to your hair needs in front of u then u may be deceived, I’m sure they could’ve whip up a conditioning treatment for her natural hair instead of a perm and continue with the blow & press, and they look like they went in a 2nd time to process it even more 🤦🏽‍♀️ this clearly wasn’t a language barrier issue, I would’ve cried 😢like 3 yrs of natural hair down the drain with the perm. U handled this so calmly, It don’t stop here, soon as your new growth come in then u will be natural again with 2 textures. As your hair continuously grow out continuously cut those ends off until the processed hair is gone.

This is called a keratin treatment not a relaxer. It is said to soften the hair so they were telling you the truth. The curls can always come back after a couple of months if this treatment is fone correct. I googles it.. "The most significant difference in hair relaxing vs hair smoothing results is that a formaldehyde-free keratin treatment will keep natural curls and waves while a chemical relaxer will entirely remove curls for a period of time."
