What a beautiful family and the ice cream looks amazing ❤

We use the same recipe but we separate the egg yolks and whites. Whip the egg whites until stiff, pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and gently fold in the whites. Then fill with whole milk to the full line. I have made it a few times without separating the eggs when I was in a hurry or just being lazy. The whites make a big difference and is well worth the extra effort!

Grew up on this--I thought we used regular sugar but powdered seems to work well.

I got a new packet of gravy I haven’t used before recently and the first time I used it I went exactly by the instructions and it said to stir in after water is in rolling boil. Don’t do this lol it’s so much better to do it with cold water and you can put a little to make sure it’s all the way blended ❤ I was thinking of making this tomorrow
