Batteries with the same chemistry, but from different manufacturers or of different ages, can have very different internal resistances. This means if they're connected in parallel you will get very different currents, resulting in one battery being overcharged and the other undercharged. In other words this only looks like it works, but you're going to seriously shorten their lifetime.

I changed the brake controller on my GMC for the same reason. It stopped the “service“ warning but I still occasionally get the “trailer disconnected “ warning. I guess I’ll change the 7 pin wiring like you did. Let us know if your warnings stopped. Great video. Will you go back next year?

Sir my slide room seems to lean down slightly when extended. If I look at it from the front or rear of the RV while extended it lleans a tiny bit away from the side of the RV. Also, I can slide my index finger under the lip of the slide floor where it meets the inside floor after running it out. should there be a lean away ? or should it be level and should my floors be flush when extended? Another easy way to route the cable inside the RV is via the Wet Bay compartment. Most 5th wheel trailers have an access hole for hoses to come up from the bottom into the wet bay. I routed my Starlink antenna (gen 1 version) to a similar flag pole mount on rear ladder and cable routes to the Wet Bay and into the front storage compartment. I mounted the Starlink router inside the front storage compartment near a 110 Volt outlet where I also have a 12 volt accessory plug for a small 150 watt inverter to run Starlink when boondocking and only on batteries / solar.

I wd still like a video showing a chart of your diet as your new look of minus 60 lbs is the new healthy you. so could you do a video showing what u eat for breakfast lunch n dinner, show us your plate! and amounts! and the calorie count! im currently on a cautionary calorie count as about 2 weeks ago I broke bones in my foot in an accident, the little toe and its long bone metatarsil connecting it to the ankle conglomerate of bones. im using castor oil poultices (very effective for pain n swelling) 3x a day and borax (boron) water; and a homeopathic program of symphytum for prompt healing, all of which has helped very much. so i cant really do any physical exercise (was on crutches but now off) and all my limping hesitant steps anywhere must b limited, no tennis, this is intensely annoying. Getting harder nowadays for everything from age of people and rvs to increase prices for camping and life needs... I just found after 69 years I have a heart issue I have to get fixed so our camping is on hold now for a while 6 months probably. O the joy

We downsized from a fabulous golf course home to a single modular home on a small lot in an OK neighborhood in a tiny hamlet outside a small city in a cold climate. quite the shock BUT its paid for (no mortgage) and when we soon downsize to one car that will b paid for also. little cc to pay off, but we pay $1,000 a month on that to eliminate that. hubby shd b down to part time work in 2 yrs. God first, family next, finances then fun; always in that order. pls post the video when you pack and and drive away from your spot! proceed!

To ensure equal draw from all batteries in paralell you should connect the load to the positive of the first battery and to the negative of the last battery in the chain thus ensuring that current flows equally through all of the batteries. the same applies to charging. Hope this helps. Final point, don't mix batteries of different ages

Thank you for the video. I had a similar problem. For $20 and an hours time, I fixed a problem the RV shop would have charged me $1500 for, and kept my RV for weeks! $15 for the rivets and a $5 rivet tool from harbor freight was all it took! Thx again, Don

Thank you, exactly the problem I had, I also noticed that the upper hinge is adjustable and that it slides with age. Between the 5/16ths washer and the adjustment it fixed it to "like new" condition.

That weld job was hard to look at.

Found ur video as I have a similar problem with the brackets that supports the awning arms ,the screws are backing out , they used self tapper screws into the fiberglass which as u know will fail. I saw ur video and I will be replacing what's there with molly rivets , thanks for the idea ,
