Bought mine roughly 15 years ago.. Use it as its intended.. works great. Though ,I do put my finger over the hole to get a different cry.. which when I am yoty hunting works amazing. Though, I have never thought to blow into it

That quivering effect is supposed to replicate an estrous doe ready no-o-o-ow. Dunno if it does tho. Ive never heard any deer sound like these cans. I have pulled does in with them on occasion.

PETE RICTARDS, Indian Pete product, been around for 90 yrs, If ole PETE Had this figured out 90 yrs ago, Anyone can cook up a home brew Recipe. It's not Rocket Science People, you just have to confuse the deers nose with a scent he or she Recognizes. Lol, use an egg beater, much quicker, BUT YOU MIGHT GET THE WIFE LOOK!!!!, LOL

But….. be aware, in freezing temps like we have here in Maine and your great home, moisture freezes when you blow into it. Keep it in you inside coat pocket when not in use. I personally mix it up; tip it a few times, blow at other times. It can give “appearance” of multiple doe, especially when using a grunt call.

@ yeah . I still use it both ways. I think on cold days blowing in it that eventually it might freeze up from the moisture from my breath. So I flip it on cold days

I heard about this last year on another YT channel. Tried it this year and called in a couple of small bucks and it seems also a couple of does. Yes I was surprised it worked. If the wind was blowing and shaking the leaves I blew it louder, just like you would do with a grunt call.

I’ve known this for a while now but I’ve called deer in doing both ways, I agree though if u don’t tip it just right it’ll stutter or sound unnatural. I’ve called in several nice bucks using the can over the years. I prefer the medium size can over all I just feel that it sounds more like an average sized doe bleating over the other sizes. Good luck with it!

A couple of years ago, I trapped 2 raccoons two weeks apart in my walk-in attic (air handler up there), using large corn chips as bait in a have-a-heart trap. I've since had a pest control service place heavy wire grates under the roof vents and had no more issues. To address the question below about what you do with them after trapping, I took them to my local animal control services office/shelter where they accept and release them far away from residential areas.

I don’t want to kill the guy City girl. I’m the burbs now. I don’t extra 3000 dollars to remove him. I just want him gone. I don’t know the difference between the traps. Does it kill then or not? I don’t want him dead. He’s kinda cute. I just want him gone. Any advice would be helpful. My mother just had a stroke. I listening to see what she’s doing. I can’t be listening to a raccoon thinking it’s her. We used to be able to afford this. Not after the medical bills and the other adjustments we had to make to the house. Ranting. Any help would be so appreciated ❤
