Some people saying MJ wouldn't be MJ in today's game. Yet here's Kawhi cooking players using MJs moves.

And it's the baby version of MJ's moves, at that.

Can you do a breakdown of Steve Nash making reads/attacks off the dribble? And Harden too? Curious to see what you think versus what I got.

As a Player do you add off ball cutting and movement to your workouts?? Do you study any film on it to add it to your game?? As a coach besides mentioning it to your players do you work on cutting in practice or to your individual workout with them???

Screening is such an important part of the game, because not only does it give the advantage to the ball handler to make their drive, but also opens up lob options for the screener or a pocket of space in the short roll to get a chance to score. Do you ever think of the impact on the game that screening has?

Pay attention to Luka's physicality how he initiates contact to clear space and stay on path to the basket. Not enough guards in pick and roll do this.

My coach would never allow me to have a iso game haha 😅 tyrese maxey would definitely be more applicable

Everyone needs a jab though even on perimeter catches where you aren’t going to isolate. I understand not wanting you to dribble 11 times into a shot but catching it on a spot jabbing right away to get the defender back or off balance for a jumper or drive can work

What are your thoughts on Durant's Jab Game? As a player is this how you use your jab?? As a coach is this how you teach it??

I learned a lot from you coach. Thank you. One question, you say to be great at one thing. For me it’s shooting. So for these players should I just see how they can get their shots off and why?

Michael, thanks for taking the time to watch the Breakdown. This is something that I will do a lot more of breaking down players at all levels and to talk basketball as much as possible. It was fun, Devin is a high integrity worker. He's the type of player that I coaches love to work with.

I agree, he made it simple, what sets Pierce apart from other wings from that era, is his shot selection, he's not going to dribble the ball for 20 secs or call iso on the wing all the time, he had variety in his game, post ups, screen action, high lows, what he lacked in natural burst , he made up with his basketball i.q. and that made him more creative.

Love this content..When he did finishing without a dribble, were you passing him the ball on the run from different spots on the floor? And when he shot pull ups where they jus mainly rip throughs or jab step one dribble pull-ups or a little bit of both?

The spacing on the floor is hard to see from these angles, but from court level view it is really phenomenal to see him do this. You get a better sense of how long he is and just how hard it is to guard him once he takes that first step.
