If your current quest is active (the only one) you can cast (and recast) Clairvoyance to show you the way to your destination. If you are lost and can't find you way out of a place, you can activate any unrelated quest (only one) and cast (and recast) Clairvoyance to show you the way out. If you would like to, that is. 🙂

Oh No. You lost Lydia. I always reload at that point. I have invested too much into my fav Nord not too. Who else do i trust to carry all my stuff? Oh well, hope you found a new follower. May i suggest Uthgurd or Jenessa. Both are great, lethal warrior women.

ICYDK - When your magicka is depleted, you can "wait" 1 hour in game and it will replenish. Labyrinthian holds lots of secrets. 🙂

When I first played this quest, before the Dragonborn DLC, Hermaeus Mora was just an orb of light, just like Meridia, if you have the pleasure of running into her. So, imagine my surprise, running a third or fourth playthrough of this questline, AFTER the Dragonborn DLC dropped, staring at my feet trying not to fall off the ledge, when suddenly the camera cranes my neck to stare directly into this abomination. I evacuated my soul, I was so jumpscared!

Walking may take longer but you will discover many places and creatures along the way. Which helps fill out your map and gives you XP.

If you want to sneak into someones house maybe have Lydia wait out side and not wear heavy armor. Just deactivate it and you are good to go. Or just plow through and go to jail a bit...Either works.

The Hall of the Dead is a small easy quest. Activated after talking to the priest in the Hall, who you totally missed. You might want to look around areas a little more carefully so as not to miss important things/people.

As i may have mentioned Solstheim is a high level area. You might want to get back on the boat and do more quests there.

Ah the Embassy mission....assuming you ever stop fighting Delphine. Yeah you should have given everything to Malborn. I made the same mistake....had to get very creative and steal everything that wasn't nailed down just to survive. Luckily I had a few powerful spells to help.

Yeah those three stones and three gates are super annoying. Sprinting and Shouting while keeping a straight path can be tricky.

The person who thanked you for killing them was already dead and had been raised to fight you. By killing them again, you freed them from whatever wizard had raised them.

When you are trying to build a path on a mountainside, it aint gonna be a straight line. Even modern roads on mountains twist and turn as needed.

Traveling may seem to take a long time but it is the best way to discover new things and have encounters along the way that build experience. Plus it gives you time and the opportunity to gather important potion ingredients.

Congrats on getting Lydia and becoming Thane. Lydia can only die in battle if YOU hit her too often in succession. Lydia can carry stuff for you in two ways. You can trade with her, but she will have a carry limit that way, or you can drop items and ask her to pick them up. The second way will give her unlimited carrying capacity.

It is funny how if you sit in the Jarls throne, your pose mimics his.

Yeah you really don't need to steal in Skyrim. There is a ton of free loot in this game. Stealing is only a requirement of a certain questline.

The game does have auto save, when you enter a new area, But unless you like redoing everything, get into the habit of saving a little more often, maybe after a successful battle or area. Check everything for loot. Also you can do magic and have special abilities so check and see what you can do. Read spellbooks to learn new spells, and eat one of each new ingrediant so you can learn what potions you can make with them. Which means you might want to start gathering ingredients, like flowers, mushrooms, eggs, animal teeth, spider eggs and other things.

Nice to see a new player of Skyrim. You are going through the various areas a little fast tho and missing a lot of treasure. Treasure can be found in burial urns, jars, shelves and dressers as well as chests.

Your character looks angry and fierce! She'll fit right in. 🙂 SAVE OFTEN! See what the paths or roads have to offer; leave the mountain climbing to the goats. Nice character, Nord, and warrior. Three for three in my book. Take? Take. Steal? Please don't. 🙂 Enjoy your game. You will have lots of fun! p.s. The sword and shield technique will get you far once you learn how best to use it. It's OK to take a hit. Just saying...
