Glad you found it helpful! What was your favourite tip if you don’t mind me asking?

In previous versions of Photo Elements, when I make an 8x10 transparent and bring in two 6x4 photos into it to print I was able to move them where I wanted to side by side, now when I try to do it, the first one goes into the middle, and won't budge. Does it have to do with the Smart Objects? How do I get around it?

hi, thanks for the video. when you first created the grid you said you wanted to make a 3 mm gutter around the edges (-6mm in height and width) but you reduced the grid by 20mm, 1 cm all around. unless im missing something?
@shapesbysean3 ай бұрын
Well spotted, that was just a mistake on my part/ but really the gutter should change depending on how you want your design to look

interesting but hard to follow for the newbie haha. Also, around 0:47 you say something like 'reduce with 6 mill' and you take of 20 from 210. Maybe it is that I am not a native speaker, but that doesn't make sense to me. Thanks anyways!

0:10 think big med small And then breaking things up into grids/equal spaced apart sections But most int one the shoe one was about unique big med small application in a swirl way not horizontal or vert but swirl 3:20) 2nd font, overlapping logo over pic, then overlapping pic over 2nd part of font to create even more depth 6:05 contrasting angles of subject matters So when overlap = high contrast and focal draw 6:10 largest text for 2nd focal, then smaller text within same proximity which groups them together and become second read afterward And then the next med size block of text afterward

Sean! my friend! <3 when you put on two objects in colour black, this objects not are the same or similars, but... if this objects have the same colour (black), this can considerate like ritm? two object with the same colour can considerate like a ritm? like a repetition? :) thanks for sharing your experience bro! :)

@@shapesbysean Look, I'm going to ask you something that I find interesting. I think that there is no systematization in relation to the aesthetic adaptation of a brand, that is, related to the visual style. I think that designers (I'm only in my first year) move by intuition, and that's perfect, because this is a language and we all know how to speak and play with signs. However, there are "main" aesthetic styles, such as art deco, art noveau, expressionism, etc. As well as modern techniques in art, such as stencils, or graffiti, and also ancient ones such as engraving or the "textur" typography of the "illuminators" of the Middle Ages. I think it is very important that this knowledge is systematized, at least to have a starting point when you start your career as a designer. What's your opinion about it? Are these contents part of the history of art? Or can they be systematized for graphic designers? Greetings!
