El vídeo lo conecté a mi amplificador chino de 11 dólares 🤣 , con 4 parlantes Sony usados de tercera mano y valla es lo mejor que he escuchado a mis 50 años. El vinilo no es mejor , es un milagro

That lines up perfectly with my guess! I _think_ it comes down to the better damping and isolation of the pricier turntable. While the better snare drums on the Zappa sample tempt me towards the G, they're close enough that I'd still be happy with the 100C either way, maybe change up the feet to isolate it better. To my understanding, internally the SL-100C is most similar to the 1200MK7 so there should be no difference in sound.

No sè porquè me vino a la cabeza MY FIRST SONY de la afamada compañìa japonesa, en un intento de iniciar a los pequeños en el mundo de la mùsica por allà por los 80's . Lo mismo imagino al ver este '' juguete '', pensado para quienes deseen iniciarse en el mundo de los vinilos, mejor aùn, para los 7 pulgadas. Sin embargo debo reconocer que suena muy decente, y ha de ser porque viene de la casa Audiotechnica, que su prestigio tiene que conservar. Enhorabuena, Francisco. Un afectuoso saludo desde CHILE 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Fake. Notice the tone arm never moves beyond a certain point. Just a loop of a record playing pretending it's this song.

Hola, Paquito: No había dado mi opinión, pero sí estuve pendiente de las votaciones, aunque realmente, y es como te había comentado cuando presentaste el Technics SL-100C en aquel video, ahí mismo, si darle oportunidad lo dejé… Para los que me leen en español, quiero decir que para mis necesidades no le veo uso apropiado; además, tomando en cuenta ese precio, un TT Technics que no tiene dots, la luz del interruptor ni pitch adjustment debería estar mucho más económico por la cantidad de funciones que les fueron removidas. Que me perdone la gente de Technics, pero el precio de ese modelo está demasiado inflado.😡 Vuelvo y repito: para mí, tanto los dots, el interruptor con luz y el Pitch Adjustment siguen siendo herramientas muy necesarias, no porque yo esté haciendo de DJ, sino porque tengo muchos vinilos en donde la velocidad de pitch está adulterada de fábrica; por tanto, con esos vinilos se necesita ajustar el giro para ponerlos a velocidad real. También otra razón es porque en mi país, por tradición, el voltaje decae haciendo que el TT gire más lento de lo normal; por tanto el PA puede corregir ese inconveniente. También hice mi blind test; elegí el B, pero ojo, no hice ningún análisis minucioso; podría ser suerte o una buena corazonada, por eso me astuve de dar impresiones. De todas maneras, me alegra saber que sí existe un digno relevo dentro de la familia del clásico SL-1200. Así pues, el día que decida jubilar mi SL-1200MK2 para hacerle un upgrade, entonces ahí tenemos el SL-1200G. Como siempre agradezco muchísimo el aporte de tu canal en estos terrenos; especialmente para mí son muy útiles porque no tengo un lugar o tienda en donde probar, es más, ni siquiera un lugar en donde mirar. Si quiere ver algo, primero tendría que comprarlo y eso nunca es una opción, así que tus videos son una gran guía para el comprador.😁😁 ¡Muchos saladines!

It was very close but the G gives that extra % in fidelity that audiophiles seek. I still would be perfectly happy with a 100C and save money over the G and put it towards a very good phono stage and cartridge.

Rather than play guess which was the tubes, I was content to simply pick the one that sounded better. To my ears "A" sounded muffled and murky, particularly in the bass and lower midrange. "B" sounded cleaner and more defined, and hence more musical. If I was in the market for a phono stage and my budget was around AUD $1400, the Phono Box RS would be on my short list. Thank you for posting the comparison, as it allowed me to listen without my eyes getting involved.
