It might not look like an island anymore due to the amount of buildings on the side of the bridge. I'm not sure if they created a barrier under the bridge creating two separated bodies of water or not but, if so, it's now become a peninsula, indeed. It might not be so obvious anymore but on its natural landscape, the island, is really an island. I've left my country a long time ago and never questioned people if the island has artificially become now a peninsula due to all the manmade constructions.

The Copenhagen Harbor is now clean enough to be used as a Bath, with many positions intended for this, after many years as a Commercial Harbor. This function has moved to the north of town to new Industrial Districts. The first part in the former "Meat Packing District" is still with Industrial Building, now being used for other purposes, as Restaurants and Exhibitions.

@@klausolekristiansen2960 Thank You. I have often found a P place for my car over there, during visits, in the good old days. I have several times named to Glyptoteket, that their Bust of Philip II is wrong, as he had a from birth deformed face and later had lost an eye from an arrow in the brow, during a siege! And during a Lecture from the Excavators of his tomb in Macedonia, they had brought what is named to be the only bust (which they have and own in Glyptoteket), and why they had come, and it looked much different, though made a little nicer than than Philips factual face, which they also had brought as a "reconstructed face" based on his actual skull. This wonderful city has a great Polish heritage, before WWII some 70 % of its population was Polish, now some 20 %. For example the Three Crosses Monument was built by Antoni Wiwulski (he also designed the Grunwaldzki Monument in Kraków) in 1916. He died in early 1919 defending Wilno/Vilnius against the Russians.
