I played this in 7th grade as the horn soloist and I felt so small being the only one playing in the huge auditorium along with percussion.

I just switched to percussion a month ago in my high school band and I’m expected to play snare for this song and I’m scared for my life

I didn’t live back in the 1952s so I don’t know how important the song is but after listening to the actual version… it’s almost too good.
