They're the coolest... but anybody who's edc'd a zippo knows that the fuel runs dry within a couple weeks. Totally fine if you're a smoker. Absolutely the worst for occasional use.

had a few of these over the years. the one i have now is an old pipe lighter version..it never works. really annoying. after about 30 strikes it fires up. must be the only one.

I'd love zippos more if they had better fuel life. It evaporates in time weather you use it or not and i don't like the butane zippo very much, it doesn't feel right to use it in them.

Check out the Chinese copy called Zorro, it has a seal to stop evaporation of the fuel

can never go wrong with an imco zippos are fine if you want to look cool, but an imco is the choice for someone who wants a lighter that just works

My mother was one of the early Zippo employees. Both my mother and aunt worked at Zippo. My aunt Jennie was employee number 9. The original factory was a little brick building on Boylston St, next to the Tuna Creek. My Zippo is a year old than me, it's a 1966 that I got from my Godfather. My oldest daughter got my Zippo, a Jim beam from 1989 I bought the year she was born. Don't smoke but I'm a pyro at heart, used to set things on fire in ashtrays at food establishments before they banned indoor smoking. Now it's a fidget spinner but I enjoy watching the flame dance and occasionally I light up the burn barrel once the massive Amazon boxes pile up for the tiny things I buy online! I bought my zippo pipe lighter in 2014, i have used it to light my pipe, cigars, and cigs ever since. I have not had any problems with it for 10 years.
