I'm not sure if you are aware of the looming election and politics in Canada. We don't have a majority government (since the NDP stopped backing the Libertals), so that means we can have elections at any moment. The current government (Liberals) are not very popular and the PCS are leading in the polls (I'm not a Liberal or PC voter). Latest date for an election if the no confidence doesn't trigger an election is October 2025. PCs are very anti-immigrantion. The PCs will make it even tighter to get PRs or access to get into Canada unfortunately. It would be best to wait until the elections is done and then make a decision.

I know a lot of people here in Ontario that got their PR before the ones that moved to different provinces. You have the same chances here. 3 years is a long time and its enough for you to get your PR. Moving to a different province doesnt always mean quicker PR. Madami ng nag momove to different provinces like Saskatchewan & Alberta but those provinces are getting smarter now. They hire and prioritize the people that studied and lived there. Good that you chose to stay!
@KyleArra22 күн бұрын
@@eithan19 hello! Yes, specially with their PNP. Or if they hire/support your papers, there is a deduction of points since you didn’t study there. For now, best choice for us is really to stay. Tho we’re not closing any doors if opportunity arises. 😌

I guess identifying the PR pathway that works with your situation is key. Another consideration na baka na-ooverlook ng iba is: smaller provinces get a smaller PR allocations. Ontario gets 21,500 while for example Saskatchewan is only allocated 8,000. But you guys do what’s best for you, good luck!
@KyleArra23 күн бұрын
@@krissylopez37 Hello! We agree with the PR allocations! Since EE is the only pathway na pasok kami *for now*, basically kahit san na province kami pumunta pwede kami mag apply. The only worry is the allocation nga since di in demand ang work namin 😅

If your immediate goal is to become PR, Ontario may not be a good option as of now, pero you can always go back to ON if naging PR na kayo (from another province). My advice is to keep an open mind and to always research before making a life changing decision. 😊

Hello! Yes it’s still part of the plan, para sa PR! 🙏 we’re also checking job opportunities for us before moving talaga since hospitality industry kami pareho (past and present work exp) wala gaano openings sa smaller province. Thank you ☺️
@Duu-t2c23 күн бұрын
I would suggest identifying first your primary and long-term objective. Based on what you are sharing, it seems one of the primary objective is being a Permanent Resident, everything else seems secondary. If leaving Ontario provides the most opportunity to get your PR then every other reason to stay in Ontario does not carry a lot of weight. If the main reason for staying in Ontario is because it’s comfortable but the chance to get a PR is low, then the comfortability is short-term. Hope you evaluate all the opportunities as best as you can and make the best decision that is right for you. Good luck !!

Hi! This is solely base on my own knowledge. Since nasa hospitality industry din ako but I’m in teer 0 right now. I think you need to check your crs score first if ever makakapasok kayo sa Teer 0-3. Ano yung magiging score niyo like given na maka CLB9 kayo sa english test. If 490+ kayo then aim for looking a job in teer 0-3 kahit supervisor sa tim hortons pwede na yun kase with that score may chance kayo ma draw. If not, then next option is RNIP. Unfortunately, it ended last August 31 but nag announced sila last March that they will make it permanent starting on Fall 2024. Until today wala pa pero I’m looking forward that this coming November kasama yun sa announcement nila. Give 2-3 hours every single day literal, in 18 months nasa B2+ level ka na which is the minimum requirements for franch language draw. Pero sure na yun PR ka and you can use it for your career for sure. Galingan niyo! 🙌
@KyleArra24 күн бұрын
Hello! Appreciate your comment! ☺️ Yes, medyo maayos ang score kung nasa Teer 0-3, hoping makapasok na kami sa teer soon. We’re working on that 🙏 French is the key talaga! Pero tbh medyo struggle for both of us ang pag aaral ng french, pero kung yun ang only way talaga, it is what it is para sa PR 🥺 Thank you ulit! Kaya natin ito 😌

Canadians are raised to not hate and to embrace diversity (including being taught this in all daycares/schools). People need to look at all sides. India has a 29% unemployment rate amongst it's own graduates. One of the big reasons why young people are leaving India in droves. Plus less than 50% of the 950 million working-age population in India is employed (compared to over 70% in other emerging markets). Amongst the Indian working group, many are self-employed and contain “unpaid helpers in family enterprises”. India has one of the highest emigration rates in the world. As many zero in on education as a way to gain access to a western country? Did international students/families pay into Canadian taxes all their lives like domestic students have (earning cheaper tuition fees)? No. Plus Canada did NOT tell international students/parents to spend/risk their life savings on a "Canadian dream". Canada did NOT tell international students to borrow money. Canada did NOT promise international students work. Canada did NOT promise international students money. Canada did NOT promise international students PERMANENT RESIDENCY. Meanwhile freelance agents have been operating in an unbridled market in India. Often by painting a distorted picture of what students can receive from Canada. Plus in recent years, a new type of recruitment has cropped up via foreign nationals as many "edu-tech" have created online platforms to connect millions of potential students with the recruiters. The sub-agents have absolutely no no direct connection with the Canadian college. Plus the college has no no ability to control their conduct. Indian sham operations abused/abusing Indian students in person &/or via massive advertising ... PRIMARILY in their native language that most Canadians do NOT understand. They paint a false picture in the minds of their own people (of what Canada could or would or should offer Indians)! Canadians are seeing primarily Indians protesting & waving their flags on Canadian streets making demands. Because they may not have enough credentials to remain in Canada? And because rules designed to protect CANADA are not meeting their desires? Why isn't there crowds of African or Caribbean or Filipino etc., students making demands? They're in Canada too. And even though Canada is being falsely/unfairly blamed for too much, Canada has yet to deport students like crazy (but likely will soon). Instead Canada has been trying trying to find balance of who can stay vs go. While also trying to fix anything Canada did wrong. Create a better future. Why? Because Canadians actually care about doing so for both Canadians and international students. Canada's own youth are also victims of the above mentioned scam artists now too. Due to a severe lack of homes & entry jobs now in Canada partially due to Indian STUDENTS swarming all post-secondary SCHOOLS ... with the vast majority fighting for PR vs returning home when their SCHOOLING ends! Many asking for asylum too (which rarely leads to PR). Questions: ⦁ What is India doing about any of this? After Canada told India to halt Ghost Consulting? Many Indians keep saying their politicians are corrupt. Plus Canada didn't have numerous PRIVATE 'diploma mills' until 40% of international students were from India. Many in or near Brampton Ontario, and Surrey British Columbia, where most Indians have lived. Coincidence? Schools that Canada is now shutting down. ⦁ What about all the YT videos that primarily Indian nationals have posted (for half a decade now including today) all advertising Canadian PR like they're selling a shirt? Promoting Canadian visas & permits & schools & jobs etc. etc.. Videos not only posted hourly but rarely in English or French. With very very rare input from Canadian citizens. ⦁ What about the IELTS spouses? Anchor babies? ⦁ What about Canadian food banks & other charity services being recklessly advertised on YT in Indian languages? ⦁ What about Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by, and for, foreign nationals? Some home rental/boarding signs stating "vegetarians only can apply". Often these 'landlords' also cram 20 students in a small home and charge them each way too much for rent. ⦁ What about Indian nationals buying local businesses then repeatedly putting Indians only in the top tier positions (while also changing familiar work practices)? BC & Ontario are also outlawing the Caste System. ⦁ What about the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortions across Canada? Diasporas stirring up tribal hatreds (in Canada) even though it all stems from their ancestral home. Why???????? ⦁ What about the Canadian government launching investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections, stemming from Asia continent? Canada also had to end flagpoling at the border. Canadians are so so so not used to all this!! Do Indians care about Canadians suffering too? Or do they primarily want to point fingers at the Canadian government etc., when many things weren't in Canada's control? Why should Canada pay for what Indians did to Indians? Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Now everyone I know is VERY happy with IRCC's recent changes (reductions & multifaceted investigations etc.). Including multi-generational long-term Asian Canadians MOST upset (by all of this). PS Immigration being decreased in: Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, The Maritimes, Alberta, Saskatchewan, & Manitoba. Chances are better for homebuilders, healthcare-givers and job creators.
