Jim was right when he said it didn't escalate, it was what was going on inside Will Smith that was the problem. That is the central issue with Hollywood and woke culture. Everyone is offended all the time, and then that offense is used as an excuse for all kinds of behavior up to and including violence. But it is the internal response of the offended where the real problem is, not the words of the "offender". The problem is we are so immature that we don't know how to restrain ourselves. In order to be offended we have to take offense. If we don't take it we don't get offended.
