Madonna was just the alignment of all the stars. She came right at the perfect time if you ever could as a female pop star. Many of the female pop stars before her like Donna Summer didn't like the limelight. Madonna craved it, embraced it, used it to her advantage and ran with it. She became the spark that changed the entire female generation from a nice girl to a bad girl persona. And not only bad girl, but a bad girl that uses her female sexuality to get whatever she wants, including domination over men. Just look how she started all her first songs, its her the star with men behind her imitating her every move, even if they are feminine moves. Almost like she has them following her like hypnotized robots that gave up their manhood. I think that's what really attracted every modern woman to worship her... because they saw in her the way to get out of this helpless shell and to finally be the dominant one. It was really a sight to behold. I remember women before Madonna... you would hardly ever hear a girl cuss and then post Madonna, you heard girls talking about the size of men's penises and how they were only dating men for their money and bragging about it. Now, I'm just starting off with her impact on society. Her music. Her music was just at the right time that disco went out of style, yet her music WAS disco beats just changed enough to make it more 80's-ish. It was disco but using pure synthesizers slowed down to about 115 beats per minute which is probably the best dance music beat that is the most versitile. Her dancing to her music and in a sexual manner just made it eye candy. And speaking of eye candy... she came around when MTV had just started. Talk about perfect timing. Her clothing style was new, street raunchy, sexy, and women fell in love with it. In 1984, I didn't know a girl that didn't have something that she wore that wasn't Modonna style. Fishnet gloves, wrist bands galore, baggy, ribbons in their hair, highlights, drastic lipstick and eyeliner, etc. Kids don't know how much Madonna changed the world. It was just mindblowing to remember it. No other woman did what Modonna did, and I don't think any other woman ever will. Ever!!!
