This railway crossing got no barriers but the next railway crossing down got barriers. Only 4 trains run everyday on this railway line in the week.

There are bells in place. There are Look For Trains both sides of the level crossing and the Railway Crossing sign are all in place. But there is only one safety warning that this level crossing does not have. And that's barriers. The barriers are missing. There are no barriers in place. Which is a safety hazard at level crossings that have none.

There are no barriers in place at this Invercargill Railway Level Crossing. This is slack and pretty lousy KiwiRail. Railway Level level crossings should always have bells, barriers and pedestrian warning signs in place at every railway level crossing in New Zealand. Big or small it doesn't matter. Bells, barriers and pedestrian warnings should be placed at all big or small KiwiRail railway level crossings across New Zealand. Even farmers that have a railway level crossing on their property should be bells and barriers in place at all times.

KiwiRail are really slack with their railway crossing barriers. It doesn't matter how small the level crossing is. KiwiRail still should have barriers and warnings in place at railway level crossings big or small to stop vehicles either way when there is a train 🚉 coming at all times. But oh no!. KiwiRail does what KiwiRail does. And no wonder accidents happen at level crossings because there are no barriers, no bells and no warning signs in place. And to me that's slack and lousy work. Even when people are crossing at level crossings there has to be warnings in place there but when there are no warnings, no bells or no barriers at all. Then accidents do happen like on foot people walking across the level crossing or a vehicle and train collision because no barriers, no warning signs and no bells. KiwiRail get off your lousy asses and put more bells, more pedestrian warnings and more barriers in place at railway level crossings. It doesn't really matter if the railway crossing is small or tiny or on someone's farm. Bells,barriers and warnings should still be placed on your railway level crossings at all times.
