so is it safe to say this is Set finally considering showing mercy for the human race after having lived among us, and seeing that we are not all the monsters he was literally created to destroy ,but in the end chooses to fulfil his duty as the Antichrist.As we know in plagues of babylon he unleashes the plagues on man .
@Hound8513 жыл бұрын
We were totally monsters before the clouding but after that, it became little more complicated. Set and setians ultimately designed downfalls of all human civilisations, but Set was really surprised by the sacrifice of Jesus in the song Crucify the King, even though he was the one who crucified him. He wanted to see, if the clouding actually changed humanity for the better. Although its obvious that he did not simply forgive us, he may have created dystopias and unleashed the plagues in order to test our resolve. I have heard, is that Framing Armageddon and Crucible of man summarise the Something Wicked story, making Come What May its ending. While I'm not entirely certain in which order the albums come after those two in the story timeline, all final songs from the albums where Set makes appearance have common theme of hope. (The end? and Tragedy and Triumph and Come What May). Those just might be false hopes from human perspective of course, but that kinda ruins Come What May for me (my favorite song of all time), and since I can't find definite answers, I stick with my theory.

What is the meaning of this song
@gorgor69788 жыл бұрын
To find your own meaning and purpose in life, to dominate reality and to uphold power of will and power of individuality in dark times when you are crushed under collective demise. The mother's life in turmoil, the homeless man's crushed spirit, the child that was raised in hate and anger, victims of the harsh reality. You fight your own battle for survival with yourself, to find a higher purpose in order to win against life, you celebrate your victory.

Usually when I'm fond of a song, I find one I like even more a few months later and then forget about the old song. It's been about a year since I bought Dystopia, two years since I first found and fell in love with this song, and I've bought - or have been given or borrowed - eleven albums since. Anthem is still way up high on my ever-changing top 10 list. Seriously, what is it about this song that makes it so fantastic? It's just... crikey. A new award should be invented especially for it.
