If you're running with a NVIDIA graphics card, you should have the "FS3" thing in your graphics settings. You can switch it to performance, and you should notice a massive increase in FPS, with the cost of the game looking grainier. Worth it for the game to be playable, though.

@@TheBlackTalon Yeah, it's always worth upgrading your PC's components. Would definitely try lowest graphics settings + FS3 performance enhancer first, though, if you're trying to postpone an upgrade for a while. I have decent specs, with a decent CPU and graphics card, and I still only achieve ~7-20 FPS with lowest graphics settings, without the performance enhancer (which is downright unplayable for most people). FS3 boosted my performance to ~40-96FPS, making a massive difference and allowing me to enjoy the game.
