it just happened randomly when selecting a car in the world. i think if you have the game installed to a hard drive for longer load times you can get a better chance for it but thats stupid so dont do that. its purely visual anyways since it still had the sound and performance of the car i selected (barnfind jaguar)

My mom has this exact computer but it runs Windows Vista Home Premium. She loves Windows Vista. I do too as well as my grandfather. It still works today in 2024 almsost 2025 and she had it I think since 2007 when Windows Vista was new, but she uses her Lenovo that she might stop using in 2025 when Windows 10 support ends and buy maybe another Lenovo or a Dell with Windows 11. She had the Lenovo since 2017 and its running slow. She used the Dell Vostro 1700 back then for work and to play the Sims 2, but now she sets it up when me or my sister play the Sims 2 or 4 on there because she wants to be careful and not damage the computer that has all of her Sims Data. So when I want to move it around I have to ask her. She bought it from Dell's website in 2007 with customizations. It's the only dual core processor laptop during the early 2000s before our first Windows 10 computer which was her Lenovo laptop. We have a single core Dell Inspiron Mini 10 laptop too with Windows XP. And it was also our only Windows Vista machine. She had to buy a Lenovo since her work program ended support for Windows Vista. I even made a Virtual Machine of Windows Vista on Virtualbox and made it look like the Vostro.

thats an amazing story there bloothr. old machines like this really do bring us back to better times dont they? i've put win7 onto my vostro back in like 2010 but i've kept it offline since like 2012 in order to keep it in its original state as when i first started my youtube channel. so many early videos still on it and music, it takes me right back every time i turn it on.

@@blaker4855 go to towhitch slot at the top of the parts selector to equip them, then hitting the action key (i think T by default) will throw sparks. i explain as much in these videos. sparks dont happen automatically.

if you have adjustable addons pack installed, look for the gameboy3800's engine mods in the part selector. thats where i put all my parts to not clog the default engine slots.

Great review! Your "forks of death" connector issue can be fixed if you have a wire cutter/crimper tool and some spare fork terminal connectors. Just strip about 1/4-1/2" of insulation off the part that lost its fork. Neatly twist the bare wire. Put a new fork terminal over it, and crimp it down. And if you're having trouble with the controllers having jerky movement, try taking them apart and spritzing some electrical cleaner inside the potentiometers.

I just got a nx9600 on ebay for 20 bucks. They usually never sell cheap. The hp branded ones are more rare than the compaq ones. Too bad the one i got is missing all the covers on the bottom and the battery.

note: if you've been installing your mods to the improper place like in your steam/common/beamng/content/vehicles folder, clearing cache will delete these files. make sure you put your (still zipped) mod files into the proper mods folder in either your documents section, appdata section or if you've set a custom location. you can always find out where mods are stored by hitting the manage user folder button on the little menu before you hit launch game, then hitting open in explorer. you can make a shortcut or pinned tab to this location; always install all mods (levels and vehicles and ui apps) to this one mods folder.

@@gameboy3800 I saw and I have a mod folder, I don’t put my vehicles in the content/vehicle folder because I know they aren’t supposed to be there there’s a file in there that even tells you not to place mods there

all other main mod work has been halted in favor of actually getting resize done. i'm still doing my own pack updates and bev pack updates because resize will take 376 years to be done.

So the shock add on, i some how did it on a PEI chassis some how. But now i dont see it on any CRD or CRD3 chassis? So what did i do wrong there and how do i fix it.

@gameboy3800 I mean, I downloaded bev pack and did it on the PEI toxic lol. I can send you photos for proof if you want. Has the short and long percentage options and the new shock section in the tuning menu just like you showcased in the video.

@@fourwheelerjock bev pack is literally just normal feld inhouse shocks on the special chassis with some slight tuning adjustments. pei probably has nitrogen bypass options like how the base game trophy trucks have. this video showcases me just experimenting with shock beam values, and these arent going to be out for awhile.

Just saying the shock settings you're messing with at 2:10, under the "shocks" settings I have that with the compression and decompression setting from 0 to 100% on the PEI Toxic. So you're saying that is normal? Bc I don't have that setting on any other truck in the game even if I change shocks under parts
