That was Awesome! Execution was there but took second place because this dance speaks to the creativity and adaptability of improvisational West Coast Jack n Jill, OR, Jack n Jack! There were some very EXCITING moves here that made this fun to watch!

West Coast Swing is based on leader and follower roles not on gender. Leo usually dances as leader, but sometimes as follower, he‘s awesome in both!

This was really a fine example. Very nice, indeed. Since I discovered these dance-videos I wondered about the rules of partnering. I see quite a number of male-male dances and, of course, the majority of mixed dances, as to be expected. But I have yet to see female-female dances. How is that? The partners oftentimes seem to be chosen by random, there must surely be only-female partnerings too. Is there a quirk, I do not get?

It's because not a lot of women compete as a leader. The only female lead I know that competes is Samantha Buckwalter. Look her up.

One of the things I like the most about Leo’s dancing is, not his interesting steps choices or the way he executes them so perfectly, but all his dances have “personality” which makes every single of his dances unique on its own right.

Doesn’t get much smoother than these two! I’m impressed by their musicality and their creativity every time I see them. On top of their talent they are two of the nicest and most humble people you will ever meet.
