I'm sooooo happy I found these videos of John Mair!!! His schoolboy band was the first "LIVE BAND" I ever saw, while we were at school. Such awesome talent, lost too soon...

I can't believe that with almost 10k views, this song has only got 84 Likes!!! 😮 It's AWESOME!!! I watch it almost daily since I recently came across it... So wish there were more John Mair videos, just the 4 on here and this is my favorite.

I'm so happy this eventually came across my feed! 💥 I was at school with John, a couple of years behind him. I was lucky enough to get the nod to attend a party in 1978 where his band performed. I was 16 and it was the first time I had ever seen a full band performance live...Blew my Mind!!! RIP John "Only the Good Die Young"... (My son is now a Blues guitarist and has fallen in love with this song...He is in awe of John's playing and is working hard to learn the licks. I'm hoping one day I'll be able to post a cover version by him and his band Earth Blues...Watch this space!) 🤞

REAL NICE! THIS IS A GEM OF A BLUES SONG WITH GEORGE HARRISON ALSO PLAYING IT IS SO SAD THAT BOTH OF THESE GREAT GUITARISTS ARE NOW GONE BUT BY PLAYING THEIR BEAUTIFUL MUSIC I THINK THAT WE SOMEHOW IN SOME MYSTICAL WAY STRIVE TO KEEP THEM WITH US IN OUR HEARTS AND DREAMS....
