I have an old captains chair that my mum rescued from a lancashire beach in the 1980's. She repaired it and varnished it really dark brown. Now she has passed I am thinking of restoring it so your video has been really interesting. It has no fabric but I am now inspired to make a velvet cushion for the seat to make it more comfy. You did a great job on your chair it is inspirational :)

This is an old video but I think I know what could have made things easier. Did you use interfacing in the button placket, cuffs and collar? Is this the sort of fabric that can gather easily? Are the seam lines at the gathered sections lined up acc to your shoulder slope? The top shoulder seam could have come down like 1/8 of an inch to help the puffy gathers on the lower seam lie flat. That and flattening with a hot and quick iron w silk organza to protect the fabric will help!

With root rot the soil goes into the trash! Bacteria and fungus are still in there, you always need fresh soil after that. Also I recommend hydrogen peroxide solution before repotting

First of all I'm really glad you haven't hurt yourself fainting/falling! It's sad that invisible illnesses are still not being taken seriously in 2023. Fatigue really sucks, I hope you got a nice rest after this project. And ooo those are some huge plant babies 😱 I have a little family of crassula ovatas and caring for even those smol ones can be taxing. They tend to be able to help if you are fu&%*d with something easy to diagnose like an exploding appendix or broken leg, or something obvious but otherwise they have no idea how to figure things out. And really don’t follow thorough. Sorry you went through this but happy you got it figured it a little now. 🙂 hope you keep feeling better!

I absolutely relate to this so much! I'm nonbinary as well and have not known exactly how to approach HRT and other aspects of medical transition. I'm nervous about my vocal range lowering because I love to sing, I'm afraid of my already-fine hair thinning, and there are some other changes that I've heard are difficult or impossible to reverse... I also have an eating disorder and body dysmorphia so I'm concerned about fat redistribution and how my brain might handle that. I do wish that Jesus would offer me a dick with little angel wings tho lmao. I wish I could pick and choose some of the "masculinizing" effects of T. Anyway, thank you for talking about this, I feel less alone tonight as a result <3 And that was a lovely surprise considering I stumbled upon your channel because I was looking for Monstera care tips and found your video about repotting Robert Plant! I have chronic pain, a list of diagnosis & weird symptoms. It’s been over 20 yrs that I’m mostly in bed. I understand what you’re saying, the flares that involve the worst pain are actually traumatic. I still have hope that God will use this for the good some how & lead me out of this. One way or another. It’s hard to keep our minds right w chronic illness. Sending you & others suffering (in whatever way) a big hug.

I am SO GLAD this is still here. I think of it often 😂
